Magical destination. Stayed there as a teenager when my father worked as a diplomat for the US Embassy. We got to meet the royal family. The Merchant Ivory film crew was filming a movie scene in the downstairs lobby. From this video, I see the grand palace has retained its beauty and grace. Can't wait to return one day.

What a lovely palace. Been there once in 2018 I think and it was a wonderful stay. The thing I liked the most was the light show thing in the evening. Very picturesque. Surely gonna come back for this.

Absolutely… this was so thoughtful of the King .. because when he offered the food .. the residents denied to take it for free and hence he decided that he will just ask them to construct a palace .. to help them maintain their dignity. 🙏🏻☺️
