Kami, every kids different, you get the ruler and measure around their heads. If you don’t have that ruler you can use string then after that measure the string to get the size. Regular 4 year olds try 14”.

I make this for my friend ‘s daughter and she is 10. Best to measure the kid head and cut out the circle leave extra 1” for seam allowance. Adults normally size is 22”- 22.5” Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any more questions Take care Vivian
