I auditioned for Gen X back in the far off day...there was a delay , we had to wait for the manager, in the interim Billy made me a cup of tea!! He was very friendly and down to earth...just saying

I met boy George in 1991 at rhe wag club in London when I was 19 the owner introduced us and tbf he was lovely So polite. I'd always wanted to meet him since I was younger.

I met Billy Idol a little over a decade ago. He was pretty decent actually. Maybe age took its toll. I mean I could see how he'd tire out eventually. But the brief bit I personally experienced he was pretty cool.

i met andy bell of erasure he was the nicest most down to earth sweetest people iv ever met let me take photos and shook my hand also talked for ages with me totally unaffected by his fame proper lovely man as was his husband stephen x

I have liked and enjoyed the music of the Beach Boys since the sixties , i always thought there was a certain rivalry between Brian Wilson, and Mike Love. Brian always came across as a very nice person and talented as he did write their songs and i think Mike who also wrote for the group was maybe a bit jealous. Anyway thats my opinion. As to the others i have heard of some of them but not others

If still alive, Lou Reed would have to be on the list. Not only did he ripp off his fellow musicians in The Velvet Underground for copyright issues, but he often was quite ignorant towards his audiences, very often bad mouthed other musicians and usually had hassle with the press ( which to a certain extent is understandable).

I supported Eric Clapton and he is a lovely friendly man .. I suspect that outburst was alcohol induced .. and we’ve all done things we don’t like when we are young and drunk . I think it’s unfair to have him on here …

In my experience working at a record store and having got on plenty of guest lists and backstage passes back in the 90's, club bands were usually pretty safe, fun guys and into talking with their fans. Arena acts were the ones you wouldn't want to meet.

I had the privilege to meet Tommy Lee I was working at a club in Chelsea New York City that time he had collaborated with House music DJ Sharam and as he was walking in, I remember he needed help with some bags and he was very nice and tipped me $400 cash
