@@13.t.a I suppose in fairness he actually got a player of the month trophy last season and helped save united at back but he's still mostly been a fridge that's prone to mistakes. At Leicester vardy nicknamed him slab head but it was meant in a positive way because he was a beast in the air. He was also amazing at well timed slide tackles. He's not the same player he was for Leicester, he helped them lift the prem title and I can't think of a single bad performance for England.

The 1st team squad needed more players as it was. With Verane/Casemiro/Erikson going, we need twice as many coming in than are leaving. Plus, one forward isn't enough as it is. Thats atleast 7 players in, never mind all our other player problems!

Our medical staff is awesome...whoever goes there doesn't want to come back.Look at Mount, Shaw, now Maguire. These players will be back if they have competition for places. Rashford was available for the entire last season since garnacho was available. Before that, Shaw was available since we had that Dutch left back.

Wrong, realistically it won’t be x5. Agent fees and salaries are inclusive of that. Therefore a fairer number is x3. Hence why selling Greenwood is so vital as it’s pure profit. This is why swap deals are done immediate benefit on the balance sheet vs expenditure over years.

Did we ever think that it was going to be any different! It will be a long hard struggle to sign any player of any significance to the club. Stick with the youth & promote from the ranks! It has won us the FA Cup last season so hopefully the talent is developing & starting to emerge!!!

Mark in terms of fullback both arsenal play ben white at RB who was cb, and Man city play Gvardiol and Lb who is also a CB. So the evolution in the prem is not really fullbacks like Trent.

We are very slow on our targets and out of all the top four potential teams, we performed worse last season. We need to get these players early and start planning how to blend them. It's not going to be as easy as we think. The session will start and we may not have done much because the targets are not lying idly unopposed

I do recommend watching his video as he knows much more about football than me and has watched much more of branthwaite than me. I do believe Pythagoras in boots is a tad harsh but I agree that elite sides won't be interested in him as he's very limited on the ball. I have no opinions of him other than that video as I haven't watched him, so I'd suggest you watch that video if you want to debate me. Unlike Pythagoras in boots I wouldn't hate it if United bought him for £40 million as a replacement for Evans and a valuable player in covering in behind a high line and a good box defender. Personally I'd focus the budget elsewhere, much more talented players available for less in terms of in possession.

Let's be honest, if it's true that we are going to stop overpaying on transfers and wages (which is what we all want), I would assume that anybody we do sign, will be a plan B or below. A lot of the plan A players will have better options to pick from.

Replacing Varane well and signing a striker to compete with Rasmus has to be the priority! We need to get those two signings done in the next couple of weeks, then get selling some dead wood e.g. Maguire, Lindelof, Eriksen, Sancho, Greenwood and Hannibal. Hopefully we can actually move the majority of those players on for decent fees 🤞🤞 After that, focus on signing another centre back and a CDM. I'd probably sell and sign a replacement for Wan-Bissaka also. I wouldn't say it's a priority though.

Why buy anyone? We beat city with what we have and we had some good players out with injuries. We now have the best coach they could find according to the man himself(hag) and we have players who beat city so let the best coach out there keep showing his coaching ability with what hes got with the team.
