out of all the guides for adb and fastboot this is the best i managed to unlock my bootloader with this method, this tutorial is simple and straight to the point had no trouble at all. thank you :)

When I choose let me pick from a list next screen appears as "select your devices type from the list below" and it's completely different from your screen

Thanks for responding. Just subbed. So the fastboot drivers are included in the 15 sec install right? I see the file but when I run the command fastboot -i 0x1bbb devices it does nothing and when I run the same command minus the s in devices I get a waiting for device error. Do you have any thoughts on what to do? Thanks any suggestions will help

can I still use this on my nexus 7 2012 that won't boot? but it can be detected by my computer. NRT keeps on failing, and rendered my nexus soft-bricked, and I'm trying for ways to push a rom, hoping, i can unbrick it

so enabling the damn OEM thing was the problem preventing me from doing mirroring my screen to pc via wifi with the pc software "scrcpy" for days, which prevented me from using the ADB thing properly in the first place. Now scrcpy worked wirelessly, thank you sir. Now i have to know more about the dangers of keeping this OEM

I am beginner, thanks for getting me so far. I am still a bit missing! v1.4.3 result, "no file(s) loaded" Tried v1.3 returned 'SETX' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. My Nexus7 is awaiting commands from adb sideload. Please help

i cant accsses my boot menu on phone, what should i do. it is showing batery charging if u plug it on pc or charger. if u try to turn it on it will show logo, gsmart and android, after 10 s it will lose android logo, and g smart will stay for 1 min and than it just shuts down

I followed this method and connected my honor 6x with my windows 8 laptop....but after I disconnected and connected again I don't know why ADB setup just force closes Everytime. And in device manager my phone is again shown as unknown device.....what should I do?

i did all tha same and there was no cmd thing at shift+right click so i just set the direction manually and still the only thing i recive for (adb devices) code is (List of devices attached). and nothing comes up at my phone.

I don't have an option to click on "OEM unlocking" to unlock to bootloader. Does this mean that it is unlocked by default, or does it mean that I don't have the option of unlocking the bootloader? I have a Galaxy note 4 running Android 6.0.1 Thank you

You type in adb devices and hit enter. If no number shows up then you go to the device manager and follow the next steps

I have no exclamation point in device manager. It does say I have a "Samsung Android ADB Interface." Never the less I cannot see my device with Fastboot. I can see it with ADB Devices.. why? I've searched for a solution everywhere.. :(

I am currently trying to root a One Plus 2, but ran into a problem with adb. I checked my drivers, reinstalled adb, restarted phone, turned off usb debugging and OEM unlocking multiple times, restarted my phone and of course unplugging the phone and I still get the message in the command window "list of devices attached" Did you run into a similar problem, do you know of a way to fix it? Erwin El Zanki yeah i kind of solved it. For the driver to be installed for the device in the 'device manager', choose 'let me choose driver manually from the computer'. then click 'choose disc'. From there you have to go to the directory called 'platform-tools' in the android SDK directory and choose 'android_usb_driver.inf'. then click yes. reconnect device and it should work.
