@@nyonyoziprim our men have this reputation of not being emotional people and very conservative. They are not overly affectionate, neither will they express it verbally. The younger generation is changing but my father's generation backwards the things they do show how they feel they'll just never say it. It's why when it comes to marriage proposals they'll be direct but in a weird way 😄😄 I'd say assumptions were a true thing in my mother's generation

About being asked to be girlfriend hmm. It has happened to me only with one person, rest of the time we just went ahead till we 'broke up' 🤣. There is a way they just start saying this is my girlfriend/wife and mentally you're like I don't recall being asked but it sounds exciting so you go from there. Whether they officially ask or not, if the man is serious it will show eventually. I know marriages where there was no proposal but they are doing well and those where proposal was outside countries or had geese and fireworks but where are they now
