My regional language is Telugu and my mother tongue is Urdu and it’s annoying to learn a third language. Still, I had to learn English. So for months, I wrote new words with their meanings and also used that word in 2-3 sentences in my book. The problem was, whenever I had to speak to someone, one proper sentence never came out of my mouth.
But look at me. Today, I talk English, I walk English. On a serious note, I won 4 English Speaking rounds and represented India at the World Championship of Public Speaking at USA. And today, I am going to tell you exactly how you can also speak in english confidently!

Try to improve vocabulary naturally by learning the meaning of words after knowing where and how the words are used. Maybe while reading newspapers, books, listening to podcasts or watching movies you will come across new words to work upon. It will help you use those words when needed in right context. Reading and writing will improve your writing skills. In order to speak properly you should listen to good English in many accents and speak with others - if English is only common language between you two then even better for practicing otherwise you will switch to your first language and not build enough confidence.

First problem is due to unknowing vocabulary if u learned daily 10 words with meaning and use this word 10 times in your book from 10 different ways your problem will solved one day. 2nd problem is no matter because their no nessarey to learn any way to construct sentences if u speak daily English with someone u will understand to your self how do u contract sentences

I'm very good at writing in English and even very good enough to make sentences in my mind but the problem is that whenever I have to speak in public i have a world of hesitation in my mind and due to the fear of grammatical mistakes I cannot talk a single sentence.

That's incorrect because if your mind is empty then you are enlightened one. So There is another problems that are more or less need practices, increase your knowledge about different areas, start practising from small stanzas but be sure that should be written by urself also u may take little help from different sources.

My biggest fear is grammatical errors. When ever i have to deal with public or any stranger who is fluent in english it always happens to me like what if i did any mistake is he or she going to makr fun of me or something and i always go blank like I don't know anything about English or grammar 😢

hey Taskeen, the 3 most difficulties i found while speaking in englih are: 1. its sometimes difficult for me to do a sentence formation ? 2. the word which i think in my mind and the word which i speak are not have any resemblence 3. as a introvert person i m bad at speakin to stranger but when it comes to the interview i need to be open minded while speaking the english 4. i don't know how to express the feelings by speaking in english 5. but after watching your vedio i think i need to listen to the song with lyrics and also need to absorb the book that you refer

Stop thinking in your mother language 100%. Think one and only in English 100%. If you don't know an English word for a word in your mother language, use Google translate or Google it. Initially it may be hard. But, In due course, you will be speaking English fluently. Good luck.

Whenever I try to speak English with friends or collegues what I feel is, I do not find proper words and at the same time, I am not able to form the sentences. Honestly speaking, I am very scared of giving interview because of my fear to speak English. I feel I need to work on to improve vocabulary and once vocabulary will improve then I am damn sure my sentence formation will also improve. One more thing which I want to share is, my pronunciation is very poor and I have got feedbacks from my friends and collegues about it. Whenever i speak i'm making so much grammatical mistakes.. because i don't know how to speak well and i don't know how to make a sentences... But now am watching your video and now am understand how to speak fluently.. so am practicing how to speak English to reading books, watching English movies to understand the vocabulary...

When I started conversation with someone I felt nervous and can't find the proper word to express my thoughts and also having difficulties in framing the sentence....I don't feel confident while speaking with someone in english and having the thoughts that maybe if I speak wrong english then the other person will laugh at me and this makes me more uncomfortable

I learned English from the following 1- Curiosity 2- English movies 3- Vampire Diaries(all of it) without subtitles 4- A book called New Light, published by H.M. Publications for class 9th and 10th in U.P. Board 5- My English teacher at 10th level 6- My south indian school at 12th level at delhi (DKS) 7- Working at callcentre in English process for nearly 4 months. So finally I am able to converse with people in English, and through these stages I only tried to stay gramatically correct. I am not a master at Basic English yet but I am still learning. Thanks urban fight for making this video and from my view you may make a video on problems faced by youngsters as they seems unable for theoretical grammer in its practical application. they can't imagine how to form sentences.

You are really lucky that you have some one who speaks better than you , every one will be confident with them selves , try to speak in english with them who are better than you make your mistakes correct slowly try to build confidence before speaking fluently you must be confident , every thing will have something to success here the key to success is confidence whether you are correct or wrong is secondary , first of all be confident which gives the courage to speak correctly. Hey Taskeen, thanks a bunch for making these impeccable videos for us. In my case, the problem that I face while speaking English is that I am not able to use the new words that I have learnt, fluently in my spoken English...I also get stuck sometimes and jarr a lot while speaking. So if you could make more videos on my issue, it would really make a lot of impact on my English.

The only fear we have in public speaking is that we create our own fear, we imagine that fear and we live in that fear that's why we limit ourselves, afraid ourselves. If we feel that while speaking people will laugh at us then one thing we need to understand that no one is perfect but i know some fear is still there so what can we do is FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY that's how we can do it. I know it is easy to say that don't afraid of speaking what if people will laugh or we feel insulted. Remember if we feel insulted after speaking or there is some kind of guilt then it is very common it happened with everyone initially. So *FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY* AND COME OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE.

1- Wrong Pronunciation makes me a joker in the crowd 2- Less collection of effective words during a conversation 3- Not using proper pauses, try to speak fast. Creates bad impression These are my three flaws.... Help me to overcome these things.

The main thing which makes me anxious is I don't that people around me to have conversation in english and even If I do stumble across somebody who is fluent or even beginner in english I get hyper conscious during that situation.
