Building a terrarium becomes a lot easier if one has access to some basic tools. In this video I have covered 7 basic but essential tools that I use for building my terrariums. I would recommend these tools for anyone interested in this hobby.
However some narrow neck containers might require improvised diy tools to work upon.

You are quite right here ; all those are essential tools to make terrariums. I do not own one of those little shovels , but use some long handled spoons .

Thanks. Sometimes I use a spoon too, after bending it a bit, as a fit for purpose tool.

now I have removed the wrong soil which was with pumice and I find it with expanded clay. , can I recycle it for other terrariums by adding other material?

This instruction video is very useful. Just one point: what you call a chopstick will hardly be recognized as a chopstick by persons coming from East Asia; they use much thinner metal chopsticks which, in my view, do not fit the purpose you demonstrate here. The term "wooden chopstick" is more fitting.

hello I noticed that in my terrariums the mix turns into clay, it disappears. I think the cause was the incorrect use of soil not mixed with sphagnum moss and sand, nor aquasoil. now I bought sphagnum moss and pine bark and coconut fiber and I was already using the charcoal. Can you confirm that with simple soil the moss dies after a while?

Not always. Some species of moss may not do well in enclosed spaces. However my terrarium soil mix gives me betters results
