No it's based on steve jobs. I'm not trying to be a steve jobs fanatic I'm just explaining that this isn't harry potter. The book isn't the number one source and I doubt sorkin used it as more than an introduction to the subject. Besides that "Becoming Steve Jobs" I thought was a lot better but that's an opinion.

Look, no one except the film makers know how much of Isaacson's biography they used to create the script. I'm just saying what I have read from a lot of articles and sources such as IMDB. They have Isaacson listed as one of the film's writers because of the biography he wrote.

I'm just amazed at how bad Sorkin is at public speaking. The ahh-uhms made it almost impossible to watch this otherwise great piece. Take some public speaking lessons Aaron ! Try Toastmasters lol .

havaiemail00 The great thing about Sorkin is how much thinking he does put into words. When you do choose language so slowly and thoughtfully it comes out in most people as umms and aaahs, but importantly from his characters as these amazing lines that just work. He's the real master of intelligent characters on-screen.

+havaiemail00 I was about to say the same thing. Its about the worst I have seen. Very distracting. Can't finish half a sentence. Defiantly needs some public speaking lessons to get more comfortable. I can't believe he is talking in the same way privately.

Yet Sorkin himself speaks slowly, disjointedly, and uses a lot of filler sounds. How ironic,

Really disappointed with the whole premise of this movie. If you're going to call it 'Steve Jobs' and not mention the iPhone which has literally changed the world the doesn't how much 'conflict' you have, you've failed.
