Jamie is such an awesome person who deserves the recognition. I love her children's book Tell Me Again About the Night I Was Born. Being an adopted child that book is one I love. Because my Mama use to tell me the story about when I was born and when she picked me up. Such awesome memories.

I met her father Tony Curtis around 1979 at Knott's Berry farm during the taping of a magician special he hosted called Great escapes. I was the only one that went up and got his autograph from the audience. 40 years later I was videotaping for the😊 non-profit I can't think of the name but they're the biggest they do the walk for the homeless at Jamie Lee Curtis was making a speech at the podium😊 at the footsteps of City😮. Hall. And the big wind blew the LA and the California and American flag about the top of her down top of her they were about to harpoon her and I saved her life. All she saw me was knocking flags flying her way away from her and she thought I was nuts and she had me removed from this set. I really saved her life. But anyways I met Jamie Lee Curtis and Tony Curtis

I believe people are getting to a point & time when they are not putting their feelings aside for other folks. I think it was perfectly okay for Ms. Bassett & Ms. Condon to show their disappointment. The good news is that Angela Bassett got her time to speak when she earned her honorary Oscar this year. Her speeches are always amazing--but that speech was so thoughtful & insightful, giving honor and paying homage to the actresses who came before her...and also supported her.
