The thing that got me most in this, was seeing the character who played Jesus react to what the girl was going through. He looked heartbroken. And that’s what Jesus feels when He sees us struggling without Him and His help. But, once the girl beat the demons and she went back to Jesus, He was more than happy to help and take her back and forgive her. He was just happy she came back. And that is when I started crying. This got me! I've danced for money, hustled, cut myself as a young adult, took so many pills I don't know how I'm alive, and then ran out into the middle of a highway to jump in front of a semi. I grew up in church and cried out to God at the last minute. I felt a warm feeling come over me on a cold night. I walked back to my house and fell right to sleep. That was 18 years ago. I have managed to have about 5 years clean here and there but at 37 I'm still struggling with addiction to pills. The physical withdrawal is awful! I know I need to get off of methadone and nicotine to fully surrender to my Jesus. I miss him so much my heart hurts!

Back when I listened to that song the first time I just turned 14 and my parents were freshly divorced. I had a rough time and couldn't sleep so I turned on the radio. It was like 1 or 2 in the morning, I don't remember. When I heard the song I thought it was just another love song (also because I'm from Germany and my English wasn't so good at that time). I remember when the singer starts to almost scream, it was like my heart melted and I just began to cry. I think I don't know how long, minutes, hours... I just know it was the fist time I was able to cry and not "keep it together" because I saw my family crumble before my eyes and there seemed to be nothing I could do to stop it from happening. I didn't know back then that the song's actually about Jesus, I just discovered it years after. But I know I felt his presence without even knowing him. Now I understand the lyrics and I know it speaks about the power, might and deep love of our savior. Now I also know him and he isn't just my savior but also my Lord. And I'm still thanking him for the first time I heard this song. He was and is my light in the darkness. And the darkness can not overcome the light, that is Jesus Christ. I love you Jesus, thank you for loving me first.

I loved the diving toward Him at 3:55 most of the skits just show him conquering everything for us but I love that you also showed the vulnerability and accountability that we should chase after Him just as much

I fight my demons everyday. I suffer from PTSD and PNES. I grew away from God and started dating behind my parents backs, I started cutting too. In the end, I dumped my boyfriend for being toxic and I told my parents. Now I'm getting to know God again.

That was so good I cried at the very end of it because it made me picture in my mind that Jesus came to you to rescue you from all of that mess in your life.
