In This Video, we're going through the fundamentals to beat the Developer Times in Hyper Spaceway. Blue Fire Management and U-Turning is really important in this track, Especially Managing your Blue Fire. Also, not many people know this, but Super Blue Fire exists in this track. I will be showing you where, and specifically how and where to drift boost, because Hyper Spaceway is not an easy track to master.

i havent done the dev ghose for hyper spaceway yet, but with my runs before, i dont think its as bad as you're trying to make it seem. there are plenty of ways to keep reserves while going fast, and the track has more drift boost opportunities than you might think. also, you can get a triple max drift jump boost in a row too. after the first boost ramp, keep drifting until you hit the portal, then release drift while airborne, then press drift again before you hit the ground. that gives you the first one. then you can drift to the shortcut and do the same trick to get the 2nd, then when you go for that little bump before the huge ramp, you can get a third boost from it. its really handy for keeping reserves, plus its just a triple full jump bar drift jump boost.

Good guide! But there is a thing that makes this dev ghost so much easier... I'm sure that it's been said in this comment section, but it's called the ,,drop boost" technique.

I just beat Hyper Spaceway yesterday. The hardest part of the track was the figure 8. I managed to hop multiple times and use u turning.

I gave up tryin' to beat Oxide, Emp Velo and Dev times at all, but still watchin' those, because it's fun. Also the circle/8 part (3:32) no matter how am I hopping, I always keep losing any kind of Fire. (and pro's laughing at me, when I say this, like 'yOu Can'T lOsE fIRe By JuMpinG lOl' ) Also my muscle memory and controller sucks - along with me - so this is impossible for me.

I'm not sure if you are aware but a technique called drop boosting makes holding reserves very easy on this track. Rather than trying to explain it I'll just link a video from ithedashy m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d9SJYJiluN-yhok.html Theres several great spots in this track to do this technique and get a ton of reserves, you dont even have to drift that much if you do it enough

You can do better at the begining:do starting boost and do 1 perfect power boost and go off the ramp then landed, jump immediately to land on turbo pad and start drifting.Its better because you get better lead at the begining

Here is a tip, that loop at the beginning, air brake or u turn, and on the other loop that circles the other shortcut u turn or spam air brake, you would want to use drift as well, hope this helps😃

okay, so.... not really a good guide IMO.. Reasons? 1) Lines are really awful and not good and way too complicated, easier way to learn this track would be to just learn the "drop boost" tech (iTheDashy made a vid on it). It'd make this track so much easier, you'd have way more reserves and your lines would be actually good. 2) 3:15 There's so much wrong here.. You have different speed of Blue Fire on lap 1 compared to lap 2 and 3, so your lines have to be different, this however isn't addressed in this part of the video. Again, here you should rather use the Drop Boost tech on lap 1 and jump over the lasers on laps 2 and 3. 3) 4:04 "All while sticking to the left side of the track," he says as he's taking an extremely wide line xD (and again, awful lines.. ) 4) Again, laps 2 and 3 have bad lines... So overall a better guide would be: Learn U-turning if you haven't already, watch iTheDashy's jump boost video and learn that tech, watch WR or FWR videos on this track and try to "mimic" those lines. This track really shows how the Drop Boost tech really changes a lot, and I mean **a lot** of things..
