Keep in mind something though. Bond is still Bond....He's gone through several changes..this is one of them, a new generation...a new gen will not like a N64 style game...it just wouldn't sell.

great gameplay however you missed a door at 8:48 in the back corner, it as a lock you can shoot off and a computer in the room it opens to

man, if you want to play a game of your childhood, and they remade it, its just like a dream becoming reality, you can play your best game, again, and with best ultimate graphics and shit. What the hell people want? that remake is the best thing to happen with goldeneye fans, i dont understand why there is so people angry...

I have eyes, I can see that. Daniel is a great actor and a pretty good Bond, but I wish they would have just put Pierce into this one, to make it more like the original.

i think, if the people think the original game is best, they just have to put an emulator and play the n64 game. I have the original cartridge and the wii version, and the original was good "at the time" he was released, but today, the remake is the best choice. this is not just a random shooter, this is nostalgic, have a good story, and good graphics.

Ive played it. If you're into stealth, and have patience, I recomend it. But it is not a COD style game in any way

This game was made with the IW4 engine, the engine used to make Black Ops and MW3

You missed extra ammo for the Parlov ASR. There was some from the Sniper at the beginning.

I agree but nightfire was my first bond game and it beat every other bond game after that so far, goldeneye was probably still better than nightfire as it sounds.

IKnowRight?! I guess it's because it's SLIGHTLY similar to Call of Duty (aiming down sights), and because Craig replaced Brosnan's role, which pissed me off at first. But, it's a NON-CANON reboot. All 007s are just agents who reach that rank and are given that Name and Number (emphasis ;-) )

Come on, this game is not so bad. Granted, it hasn't got the superb gameplay of the original, but it's good in it's own right. Better than COD, at least.

I'm sure it's a good game in its own right, but I think what irks a lot of people, including me, is that it just feels like this game is a peversion of the original GoldenEye (both the film and the game). The original game was run 'n' gun, and that was the appeal of it. Hell, there are very few FPS games like that now. This is more like any other modern shooter game (not necessarily just COD), and that's why people are disappointed with this.

This is a great game and all, and I did like them modernizing it a bit, (i.e. smartphone, slightly changed story) but I think they should have kept pierce bronsan in it. Just my opinion.

They shouldn't have used Daniel craig or the COD shooting system. Should have been Brosnan with the timesplitters 2 shoot system almost taken exactly from goldeneye

Shawn P. I didn't mean the original and you don't have to give me a history lesson on gaming, because I've been gaming for my whole known life (since about when I was 4 yrs old). I know a lot N64 games by heart. And what I meant was that the REMAKE looked like a copy of Call of Duty, not the original. The original is still a really great FS game. Kid's these days, trying to sound more educated then they are. Oh and by the way I got the N64 for my 4th birthday, a year after it came out.

@THEVIRTUALGAM3R I'm deaf. I got it for my Christmas so I upset about this game has no subtitles so I can't enjoy or can't follow the plot that I may be lost or failure the mission. It's time to go back to original N64 version has subtitles also deaf friendly for me.
