It is so interesting how Diana gathered her fans from all over the world, where people even do not know each other, or much about each other's culture they were brought up in but coming to the same conclusions about the quality of enchanting voice of this super adorable outstandingly talented artist!

Nice that you giving Diana a new chance. Her voice became deeper after the voice break. Now she is 17 years old. In these video clips she experiments with different styles. Kraniche) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jsCKe6yEuMyspmg.html Diana Ankudinova - ЖУРАВЛИ kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aaySibBhsJm3Z5c.html As was common in Caucasian families, an Avar couple had seven sons, all of whom had gone to fight for their country. All 7 Gazdanov brothers did not return from the Great Patriotic War. They died defending Moscow and Sevastopol in the battles for Novorossiysk, Kiev and Berlin. The mother died after the death of the third son. When the seventh son lost his life, the postman refused to deliver the news of the death of the seventh and last son. So all the elders of the village gathered and came to the father's house. He understood everything without a word, but he couldn't bear this last message that his youngest son was also killed and died of a heart attack with his only granddaughter in his lap. That's the story ... He wanted to end his life with this song. On July 8, 1969, the son brought Mark to the studio, where he was once able to record a song. This record was the last in his life. Mark Bernes died on August 16 (he had cancer). Rasul Gamzatov later wrote: "... The words of this song ... had a specific address - to the millions who died who did not return from the battlefields of the Second World War. ... but at the same time I see no reasons why it is impossible to dedicate the cranes to the victims of wars of all times ”. The crane theme can also be inspired by a visit to a memorial to a Japanese girl named Hiakima Sasaki in Hiroshima who suffered from leukemia after the atomic explosion in Hiroshima. I am 64, I live in Arizona. I took vocal lessons as a child and in high school. Though music has all ways been a part of my life, I don't sing much except when alone or in church. However, I got chills, goosebumps, and tears in my eyes the first time I heard "Rechenka" & "Wicked Game". She is her own style. She easily passes from Russian Pop, Native Siberian, Jazz Scat, Russian Folk, and just pure Joy! And she's a contralto (miraculous)! I would like to see her attempt classical singing. In any case, the world is much more beautiful to me, now that I know she is in it.

Насколько я знаю, Диана, сначала научилась петь, а потом разговаривать. Если мне не изменяет память, то поет она с пяти лет ))) As far as I know, Diana first learned to sing, and then to talk. If I remember correctly, she has been singing since she was five years old )))

Thanks again - love your input on this treasure. Yes, and isnt the last note delightful? Soaring, shimmering and clear! Diana has also done a recording of Havana at home - a complete sea-change and very amusing while the voice is still clean and pure. My favourite line "Stop it, Diana!"

Hi, I'm very happy that you've rediscovered Diana for yourself! Please, also react to WAVE (LA VAGUE) bilingual French - Russian composition. Unfortunately it's just a sound-track. But this is not a cover, it is specially composed for Diana. And it is not a home record. It was made in a professional studio. Also there is a composition BY YOUR VOICE, which was presented by Diana in the end of January this year, before the isolation. Please, stay safe and regards.

К сожалению в этой профессиональной студии песню "Волна" подпортили завышенным уровнем записи, из-за чего музыка в громких местах звучит искажённо. И настоящий профессионал обязательно услышит это!

I like probably everyone else wishes the song was longer but I love her version, especially the wordless vocal section. I have heard something very similar but can't place it now.

Yeah! Her wordless vocal remind me Pink Floyd " Dark side of the Moon" in high register. 5 to 10seconds or more.
