I owned a couple of Tonka trucks as a kid, but I've treated Tonkanator as a tribute to this yellow and black knockoff set of G1 Constructicons that introduced me to Transformers when I was a kid.

gonna be honest, the main reason i watch your yearly best of is for your album picks. I don't really look or find new music/artists so having this broadens my music library. also after seeing so many people put armarda optimus in their top lists, I'm gonna have to get it now.

I mean, they've always made me happy, but I sadly burned out on Transformers after last Christmas (2022) for reasons I can't thoroughly comprehend, so your videos are now the only connection I currently have to the brand. I still have my collection, and I may return one day, but for now - keep on Thewing, sir, and I will keep on watching.

It's always wonderful to see girl bots get a shoutout, this last year has had many kickass lady transformers see releases. The mainline deluxe Airazor (not the Studio Series one) is easily a top-3 bot for me this year, a cute and simply joyful toy.

As someone who’s a bit clueless with metal, the albums of the year really *is* my favourite bit of these videos, as someone whose taste I can dig on other stuff is a pretty reliable source of what music to give a go.

A little surprised Armada Prime was the number 1 but also not at all surprised lol. That toy is an absolute dream and was also my number 1 of the year, and it's no wonder why it's so good considering it was designed by Hasui.

This was really fun and unique list for 2023. Only ones here I think I got were Armada Prime, and Axel Grease. Never saw either the Scourge or Toxitron but the vanilla release Prime is still a pretty decent and fun figure to have in hand. Only started getting back into the movieverse with some ROTB releases last year and the Decepticon 4 pack from last year. May give that Galvatron figure a look and still really want to find a Battletrap to go along with Scourge and Nightbird.

On the topic of Earthspark, it feels like a sort of modern Animated. There's plenty difference but the feeling that it's mature past it's target audience is really nice.

Honestly I love the music bit. I struggle venture out of doom metal bubble so hearing what others like helps find some new stuff.
