This was a super helpful video since I'm just starting the hiking life and am hitting this one up first since I've heard amazing things about it. Your video just hyped me up totally! Thanks. Well done.

Haven't been on this trail in 25 years. Went in July and it was so packed with people we had to wait at the wider spots for people to pass. Is great that your time there was not crowded and you were able to capture it's beauty so well. Thanks!

Thank you Wandering Woodsman for showing Pennsylvania’s free access public lands. I hope that some day the Commonwealth will allow a couple days a year for ATV access for those of us that no longer have the ability to hike. I’d like to see a guided tour with conservation rangers leading the ride.

One of favorite places to hike also. Yes, the rocks get slippery! Last time I was there a guy broke his leg from a fall. Past EMT people carrying him on stretcher. But, yeah beautiful place!

Took Rosa and Diego here about 5 years ago. In the winter, it is said to be just as beautiful with all the ice.

Hey Cliff, going there next week. Great video preview. We’ll probably park where you parked and do a short jaunt up and back and then on another day park above and walk down and up. I’ll let you know how it goes. Thx!

I was there about a moth ago and thought to myself; " I sure hope these steps hold up." Well the falls trail collapsed at some point this week.

Are those orange eggs and newts that non camouflaged colour to scare predators from eating them for fear of being poisonous or at least unpalatable. Or are they not faking it?

Great video, thanks. Can you, or anyone reading this, recommend somewhere to stay overnight close by? Even a campground but prefer glampaning so a hotel wouldn't suck lol

Sorry if this is too late, but you can try calling the park office. They have cabins for rent there and RV camping. Otherwise, Williamsport is less than an hour away and has plenty of hotels in the area

I believe it was July. The trails can be steep and slippery, I saw families with young children, so it can be done. Just keep an eye on them and keep a hold on them while going up the steep steps.

this is an old video, but noticed in your treks there is a loud, predominant bird calling...wonder what kind it is?

Such a beaUtiful area.Im from So.Cal which ,though beautiful in its own right is mostly brown.Ive never seen a waterfall. Excuse my ignorance but Do you ever worry about bears?
@thewanderingwoodsman7227

There not that dangerous out this way, unless you do something really stupid to provoke - like run after one of the little bear cubs and grab it while mama bear is watching....

+The Wandering Woodsman Uh,yeah.LOL I'm not bear savvy but even I wouldn't do that.The thing is,I love all wildlife....maybe more than most people(sheesh .Maybe I shouldn't admit that.)but I also have a healthy respect for their ways and perhaps even unpredictability .You ,sir are much braver than I am and I'm not chicken.My hat is off to you and your lack of fear

I did this hike yesterday, amazing. But I didn’t worry about bears, I worry more about cats. I carry a gun everyday, and I don’t go into the woods without one.

I was keeping my eye out for what I call modern day park graffiti which are Zen rocks or people setting up standing stones. I absolutely cannot stand when people do that I wish they would leave nature alone. Thankfully most of what you viewed here wasn't contaminated.
