@@PeteTheWargamer honestly some of my best techniques have been due to impatience. I'd argue that half my workflow has been developed because i ran out of one thing or another, or because i fiddle with stuff as it's curing/drying.

@@PeteTheWargamer they did confirm that tomb kings and brettonia are coming back in a recent post. so heck yeah! the necrosphinx is a deadly unit by the by, definetly pick one up WHEN they come back.

@@andrewwagaman9 First opportunity I get once The Old World releases, I'm gonna buy a ton of Bretonnian models. Buying original GW Bretonnian models is outrageously expensive when you buy them second hand(I get why - they are fairly rare since GW doesn't produce them anymore so you are limited to buying expensive second hand models or substitutes, even more so when you want to buy the older Bretonnian models). There are ofc some really good substitute models out there that passes as Bretonnian knights and men at arms and whathaveyou. But this rerelease of The World That Was will be awesome. I have no doubt Bretonnia will be my first Warhammer Fantasy army to play with.

I've really missed Brettonians. They would make for another great underworlds warband. I really like how these models turned out, they add a new element to the old tomb kings aesthetic.

An interesting warband conversion would be a Warcry: Clan Skurvy Kitbash where the warband is pirate themed with pistols and the little normal rats sculpted like parrots and the Stormfeinds are deep sea divers that use ramshackle barrel technology instead of the advanced warpstone tech of clan Scryer, and slaver Packmasters. Bases could be beach or wood planks. If you wanted to make it AoS themed you could take an KO Ironclad and convert it to be Scaven looted and Warpstone powerd.

Have you seen the Pi'Rats by Punga? I have base pirate one and it's AMAZING. The Cursed Crew version has a Rat Ogor in Diving Suit that I want as well!

I've had a warband idea in my backlog for quite a while now: Some classic knights. I want to use stormcast as a base but switch out the stormcast-specific stuff like helmets and iconography. And I want to make them heraldry-heavy, shields and flags with classic heraldry on it. One could even go in a Bretonnia-direction.

On Helmar I was thinking you would cut off the top of the old helmet front and the bottom of the face on the new helmet so we could see some of the skull underneath. Also next time you need to do a desert base consider trying gel superglue with small pieces of egg shell then dump on baking soda it makes an amazing desert base where the rapid drying of the gel superglue turns in ripples with what looks like broken pottery in it and the smaller scale of the grit makes a very convincing in scale sand texture.

Something I'd love to see in the future would be a total conversion of a modern miniature into Aekold Helbrass, including the prismatic look of his armour and a base bursting with plantlife.
