I was not expecting this AT ALL after hearing and reacting to 23 last night.....so different. Pau's vocals really shined through....loved every second of the 4 min 20 second track....more please!!

What I love about this band is that they can punch you in the face with a heavy riff, and then turn around and punch you in the emotions with something like this. And they do both equally well.

I’m as blown away by Pau’s vocals on this half of the album as I was by Dany’s on the Mayday half. Can’t wait until Ale feels comfortable to sing lead on coming albums.

Yeah, Ale is definitely the shy one on vocals, she prefers to be supporting for now, but she is still so young...I am very curious to hear a whole Ale vocal song!

I'd pick an upbeat song over a slow one most of the time, but this is nice. I like how they morphed the cymbal sound into the guitar when Pau sings "walk on water".

I'm with you for the most part, the same way I'd take a 1,000 horsepower Mustang over a 4 door Civic with 123 horsepower.....23 is still my favorite, but this song will definitely have a place in the rotation.....Thanks for watching

All the new songs are fantastic. You're going to have to listen to each one multiple times before you really know which one stands out for you and then you'll probably realize they're all your favorites. Well, at least thats what happened to me. Although Amour might be taking the lead.

It's a beautiful melody in a very dark song. I have seen that many people have interpreted it as a song of love or heartbreak, but personally I see rather that something has been done very wrong and there is a guilty party who is about to be judged and singled out for Is this possible? that's the AI talking to its creator and making him see how far things have come? I really don't know if it's my perspective, but I feel like I'm missing some detail in the translation or in the context and I don't know if the girls have already commented on it on Patreon, but I'm intrigued by this. I have no doubt that it is an artistic gem and personally, as I have always said, my favorite song from The Warning is always the last one I just heard.

I agree, I fully read and listened to the lyrics, but the context for me is lacking as to understanding it....so you might be right. Thanks for watching!

I read one comment (don't remember where) that this is about the lone wolf mass shooters (who always blamed others for their act), which kinda baffled me at first, as to why do they put the most beautiful, purest sound to talk about such despicable act? It feels like they purposedly tainted these beautiful melodies with the darkest story ever. But then I thought maybe because that's the whole story behind the song; lives so pure & beautiful were tainted by the most heinous crime. If that's their intention, I think this song is a masterpiece of true geniuses. Kudos to DPA! 👏👏👏
@bernardoperez-zamorano65502 жыл бұрын
@@clawsteph I also read that somewhere, and after listening to the song a few times I think it makes sense. I believe it is one of the victims talking to the shooter (Find me = someone to blame, Find me = somewhere to aim).
@clawsteph2 жыл бұрын
@@bernardoperez-zamorano6550 Same here, when I read that interpretation, the lyrics suddenly made sense. As to your take on dialogue between the perpetrator & the victim, I think it's very interesting. Or maybe it's another case of good side vs evil side within the perpetrator's mind, just like QoTMS 😅 I'd also like to think that it's specifically about school shooting where the victims were innocent children because the background harmonies sounded like children's choir on Christmas, which broke my heart even more. Well, we can never really rest when it comes to DPA. Even in the most peaceful heavenly melodies, there's always something dark hovering above. And that's a very realistic portrait of life on earth. These young ladies are not just musicians, they're also artists and philosophers!

I know alot of the Warning's songs aren't long and as a fanboy......lol....I'm ok with that and preferably I'd rather a band do a shorter song whether its a rocker or a ballad that makes its point and hits your soul in the sweet spot than a ten or twenty minute song that just meanders on and on......I mean don't get me wrong I love a long epic song but there are some long epic songs I've heard in my 40 yrs of listening to rock and heavy metal that just go on and on with no point whatsoever and maybe one day we'll get a long epic one from the Warning because if there's any band that could do it it's these talented young ladies
