Nope. In the South or in the mountain cities of the Southeast is very cold in the winter. Of course, different of the winter in North America or Europe. But the temperature in these cities is so low in the winter compared to the Northeast or North of the country. I live in the mountain region of Rio and, two weeks ago, the degrees downs to 4°c. Three days later, reaches almost 40°c XD (Sorry for my bad English).

O vídeo que eles fizeram com o Rômulo e a Mirela do canal Travel and Share por exemplo foi filmado lá por volta de agosto, quando os dois ainda estavam no Brasil para o lançamento do livro deles. No mais, já tem alguns meses que eles ( Travel and Share ) voltaram para a Europa e ainda não regressaram ao Brasil. Logo, não teria como eles terem gravado em São Paulo com o canal Way Away. Espero que tenha esclarecido sua dúvida. Inclusive eles fizeram um vídeo com temática de natal nos Estados Unidos entre esses do Brasil, e eles não foram para lá gravar o vídeo e voltar haha. Eles já estão lá e estão editando os vídeos gravados no inverno aqui no Brasil.

I found one of your videos in my recommended for you section and ive been watching your brazil videos for the past couple hours. Im brazilian but was born here in the US. I was recently in brazil and I miss it so much watching these videos made me cry because its so great seeing other people visit a place you love so dearly. The way you spoke about brazilians also made me tear up because americans always think we are very friendly and i just love how positive people are when talking about brazilians. it makes me more proud of being brazilian. I'd suggest you two to visit Petrópolis, i lived there for a while and that place is beautiful and has so much history, it's known as the imperial city. Also it's usually cold, i think you're gonna like it cause doesn't even look like Rio but it is.

You guys should go to Praia Vermelha (red beach) in Urca neighborhood, where you can walk around the Pão de Açucar hill or even take the cable car and enjoy one the best views of Guanabara Bay.

hey, im brazilian but i live in the US for years now. at the end of the video you said its winter in brazil but actually, right now is summer over there ;) hope you guys are enjoying, you should really visit the south of brazil, i was born in a really tourist and cute city everybody likes to go called Gramado, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, its different than the rest of the country, trust me. happy holidays 😀

Actually, you are not in the Amazon, the forest is located in north Brazil. I recommend you to visit Alter do Chão to see the beauties of this nature.

Olha, pelo que sei alguns desses casos são pessoas que querem mostrar a realidade, ter empatia ou compadecer com a dificuldade alheia, ou querem simplesmente entender melhor como as pessoas vivem lá. Se o propósito é dar visibilidade, fazer matéria jornalística relevante, analisar para possíveis projetos sociais, ótimo. Eu também acho que se for simplesmente pela pobreza, não deveria atrair turista. Se tiver outro atrativo, se construírem algo, tudo bem.

@@marinfam6 Its located in the village of Ibitipoca, and in order to reach the place you have to go through the small city of Lima Duarte, which is close to Juiz de Fora, on the southern side of the state, that is also known as the region of Zona da Mata.

Hey guys, I've been following you here in Brazil. I lived for many years in Copacabana and I gotta give u some tips. U should visit Arpoador 'cause sunny days are awesome there and the sunset sometimes are memorable. Ipanema beach is right after Arpoador. Urca and its Praia Vermelha (red Beach, just a name) is very close to Copacabana and right beside Rio Sul Shopping Mall. Urca has a nace place to hangout, to do some hiking and a lot of tourists go there to have some nice pictures, I loved to go there when I was under 19 years old. There's also this other place called Flamengo beach and Aterro do Flamengo. Everybody goes to practice all kinds of sports. If you go a little outside the city of RJ, you might wanna visit Búzios for some scuba diving in its crystal clear water. Don't forget to visit some traditional places such as Lapa, Santa Teresa, Centro (downtown) specially to see the the Museum, the Theatro Municipal, which is the most beautiful theater we have in Rio. You may by subway, going to Cinelandia you will find the theater, the Cathedral and a feel more things. It's always better if you guys have someone to go along with you. If you don't have anybody, call me, I'd love to make this tour with you guys, I just know the places, don't really know the history behind as a real tour guide would know. See ya!!

You guys should eat feijoada is reeeeally good. Next time you have to go to Foz do iguaçu and check the iguaçu falls, Brasília (wich is the capitol), Minas gerais (the historic cities such as, Mariana, Tiradentes, Ouro Preto and São João Del Rey), the south (Gramado e Canela), and the northeast!! Many many amazing things for you to see! x.o

I strongly recommend you to visit Petropolis. It's a small city located in Rio not too far from where you are, and It was on the past a Imperial City. Google It and see for yourself how beautiful it is.

They are saying that Brasil is a good place to come in THEIR winter, which in North America in the northern hemisphere is now in December. Great to see the Parque, so many visits to Rio and I never went. Love Capirosca! The vodka one, less of a hangover than with Cachaca. Lol white tourists on the beach do tend to stand out!

Just a correction, the amazon rainforest its actualy only in the north. Rio de Janeiro has the Mata Atlântica wich is a biome that is located only on the south and southwest of brazil
