Maybe like a zipper pull. You could also use thinner cord.

Things like zipper pulls, fobs for keychains, you could even wrap this weave around a bic lighter. Use to make those to sell at parties. I would also make whatever design and have them hanging off my hiking bag for emergency cordage or kindling. Take the idea a step further, wrap the weave around some fishing line, a hook and some tin foil for an emergency survival kit.

Really cool! I think I can do this even with arthritis. So many wonderful ideas. One ( not negative) suggestion. Seniors need to watch again or slow down. Plus length of paracord is helpful. I have 2 of your kits. Thank you ( realize it’s a short)

It's mainly a decorative knot, but you can use it to make a zipper pull if you want it to be functional.

ironically this is the same weave obtained when using an inkle loom. I've made belts that way. awesome hand method for short weaves.

Gonna make that for my AuDHD kiddo with some micro cord in his fav colors. Something about it just looks PROMISING as a fidget/sensory aid. Also, I'm thinking I'll try some beads on it... IF I can get the size etc right, I winder hownitll turn out. I'm thinking beads that have smooth texture (or maybe even roll) on one side and the slightly rougher texture on the other... also, mini may actually be too small, but ... Time to try! 😊

Так и делают . Нитки только объемные нужны . Я так и шарфы и кардиган , а в основном коврики из утилизации вещей делаю . Всё лучше , чем природу засорять .
