It's quite obvious for everyone involved in volleyball that this guy is just your average hard working talent, and that's totally fine! but i n no way is he "the best teen volleyball player?". Also indoor has a lot harder competition and requires a lot more precise skill. Beach is tough because running and jumping is more difficult but it moves a lot slower and has a lot more room for error.

Im 17, I play varsity volleyball (not saying that is impressive, just trying to let people know i understand volleyball), and this kid is nothing special at all. He might be good for his age, but go to any random beach in So Cal and you will find a handful of players that are 15 that are better than him. He can not hit the ball down, he is only hitting downballs, and he looks extremely clunky playing defense. He would be obsolete if he lived in SoCal.

Whistle Sports, do not promote FAKE NEWS and put a "click bait" title such as this one. If anything check out the kids from Balboa Bay Volleyball Club or SCVC Volleyball Club who are receiving inquiries from Division 1 Colleges at age 14. It wouldn't hurt to do some actual research on the athletes that have made the USA Indoor and Beach Junior National Team before posting a video like this. The young athletes that actually roster on the U15, U17, and U19 are closer to being, "The Best Teen Volleyball Player Ever". Plus, there are a couple Florida athletes that made the USA training team. Ron, is not one of them.

After watching this, I truly believe this kids mom called up Whistle Sports and scheduled this whole thing. This kid honeslty is average (at best) even for his own age. His mom home schools him and it is obvious that she thinks her son is something special.

coming from a volleyball player: yes, he does have ball control. and, at least from the clips showed, he can scoop and tries to not let the ball die so fast. but his spikes are weird. he still has some techniques to work on.

he’s a skilled player, but I’ve seen players who have less experience, no background of VB, and little to no coaching help or anything hit wayyyyy better. I’ve seen 14 year olds who are shorter than him slam a ball down on the 10 foot line. No hate, I definitely love his commitment to the sport!

Please be careful when titling a video, or at least have people who deserve recognitions. The Partain brothers are around this kids age and they already made the main draw in Hermosa beach (for the AVP, the biggest volleyball professional circuit in America)
