This is the one I've been waiting for. At the moment several of the largest & most modern football stadia in the country host no top tier teams: Wisla Krakow's home ground, Warsaw's PGE Narodowy & the Euro 2012 one in Gdansk.

Wisla Krakow plays at its stadium, Lechia Gdańsk also but in 2 league (name: 1liga)🙂

Finally Poland, one of the most intensive countries in terms of building great new stadiums. Most of the stadiums from 1st and 2nd tier look VERY good/ Glad you made that one, thanks!

Finally. ❤ The pronunciations were pretty much on point, especially Gliwicach (gliwicacz). I'm also impressed how you've handled the one in Mielec. Also you've missed the Radomskie Centrum Sportu, since Radomiak moved there back after 7!!! years of rebuild, but that's fine. I'm not from Radom, so 🙃.

Finally. Stadiums from my country. I must admit your pronunciations were very good. Now we need a video with stadiums from polish 2nd division (I Liga). There are also modern sport facilities.

Wowee these stadiums are great! They have done a fantastic job, I think I love them all! Except for the ones with running tracks of course. I like the Lantern (Wroclaw) the best but really close is the little one that looks like a cricket stadium called Stadion Warty Poznan.

Love Polish football, hopefully they will be more in the finals of each European football league. The stadium of Lech Poznan is awesome and I hope Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza will also expand their stadium once they are back up on the highest Polish level.

I just came back from watching a game in Radom, and I can pretty much confirm that they are no longer using that old stadium and moved to a new one that is still being developed and only has 2 stands for now. I only have 3 grounds left for me to attend in Ekstraklasa. Poznan clubs would probably be my favourite stadiums with Zaglebie by far the least favourite

The comment about Arena Zabrze caught my attention. According to wiki Zabrze was part of the Silesian Duchies that were incorporated into the Hapsburg Monarchy in 1524. The city and region had a large German population. It was annexed by the Kingdom of Prussia (German) in the mid 1700s. After WWI a plebiscite was held and the town now called Hindenburg, voted with a 59% majority to be a part of Germany rather than remain under Polish government as the border of Poland had been established after WW1. A 3 year civil war occured between Poles and Germans for control of Silesia from 1919-21 and at times Hindenburg was occupied by Polish but in 1921 Silesia was divided between the Poles and Germans and Hindenburg today Zabrze was placed in German hands. Hence naming the stadium Adolph Hitler Kampfbahn when it was built in 1934 (Adolf Hitler Arena).

Actually barely anyone in Poland use those names, we usually use the name of the street the given stadium is located at. It's kind of a tradition. MOSiR in the name of Radomiak stadium is not a sponsor, it's an acronym that means 'The municipal center of sport and recreation", the same name as the stadium of Stal Mielec, MOSiR's are more than only a stadium, usually they also consist a sports hall, a swimming pool and things like that, they are like sports complexes. Most stadiums aren't fully own by the clubs, they were co-financed and are co-owned by the cities and many kinds of events are host on them, that's why they have "municipal" in the name. I love your videos because they are funny, but Radomiak moved to a new stadium and is playing on a similar stadium (only two stands) without track. Polish stadium boom has been going since 2006. Ruch and Raków will get a new one as well. 1 liga (actually second division) got a lot of new stadiums too.

Huh... Apparently one of the smaller stadiums in the league, the one belonging to Rakow Czestochowa, has played host to one of the most successful football clubs in the last 3 seasons!

defending league champions as of now... kinda like Santos in Brazil from 2002-04. Their home is a 15k seat stadium. But they played in other major cities of their state in some major matches, either due to their stadium being closed by the league due to lack of safety or by league/championship rule

I went to Krakow a few years ago and drove by the first stadium on my way into the city from the airport, right down that road that's to the right of the stadium!

I know this might be a weird request, but I wish you would do a Memphis, TN stadiums one (both old and new) because there’s some fascinating history with some of the stadiums, I know you covered three of them in different videos, but we have some other stadiums in the city as well. And some that are no longer there

I believe that Ruch will start using Stadion Śląski only in February, when they will be done with adjusting it for safety recuirements or some. Anyway at the moment they share the stadium with Piast

The Radomiak stadium is a wrong stadium. The current stadium has a name ''Stadion Imienia Braci Czachorów'' or ''Radomskie Centrum Sportu'' and is located and the different side of the town.

1:18 this is wrong the stand is stil under construction Edit:Radomiak Radom Has a new stadium now and it doesn't have a track and the old stadium was temporary

Ruch Chorzow don’t play in Stadion Slaski. its too big for them and cant afford it. At the moment they are playing in Gliwice because their actual stadium is getting a renovation

Why are attendances in the Ekstraklassa so poor?

they aren't. This is the 21st league in Europe. The level is poor, but still, some clubs got good attendances (Legia, Lech, Widzew, Gornik, Pogon, Korona and Ruch) some other clubs can fill the stadium sometimes, and there are very small teams like Warta and Puszcza

For the size of the cities, Legia, Lechia Gdańsk and the Krakow clubs have very poor attendances.

@@jamesgill3759 Legia got around 24.000 which is good for Ekstraklasa poor level of football (srsly you must be english or german) the perspective on Football is different. Like I mentioned polish league is on a poor level, you need to compare Warsaw and Cracow to Oslo, Prague, Athens, Zagreb, Belgrad, Bukarest, Budapest, Vienna, Stockholm. Cities from those kind of leagues

it's kinda like the same here in Brazil, although attendance here has been improving lately, especially with Flamengo (the bigggest fanbase around here) being strong. We cannot crack the 1983 record (the rules for capacity were different and there were four stadiums at least that could receive over 100k before they closed the doors, with some three or four more in the 80k range), but the second place has been changing every season @@Matthew_Broderick
