You were in a lively mood when you put this one together, I kept chuckling all the way through. I'm glad that you didn't mention that Australia beat Netherlands in that hockey final comprehensively. You are a gentleman. Today none of the stadiums are my favourite the jokes made the vid today but the Olympicstadion has a nice façade but inside looks a little cold and windy.

The Olympic Flame was invented by the Dutch for the 1928 Amsterdam Olympic Games, hence the spire with the cauldron at the Olympisch Stadion. Before then the Olympics just didn't have one. But after the 1928 Games, the idea kinda stuck and since the Amsterdam games all the following Olympics have been decorated with an Olympic Flame...

And the Amsterdam Olympics was the only one which made money for a long time. It was when the left didn’t had any power in the city and a good place to live.

I think you missed the Toekomst home of Jong Ajax and the amateur team and Sporthallen zuid which hosted the basketball team Apollo Amsterdam
@brandonking17375 ай бұрын
I think they are too small, generally the minimum capacity he uses for these videos is 10,000 for stadiums and 5,000 for arenas

and the Apollo hall itself

Something you've missed, The Olympic Stadium was also the former Ajax Amsterdam home venue before the Johan Cruyff Arena (Amsterdam Arena formerly) was built.

If you're doing shorter vids about small cities, then Manchester would be good - a couple of Premier stadiums, a cricket ground, a few non- league/ reserve team venues, a couple of 20,000 seat indoor arenas.

Rotterdam is the sports and stadiums city of The Netherlands and you make a video about our stupid capital?? Insane mistake. You have to do one about Rotterdam now. De Kuip is the most beautiful stadium in the world
@gordon15455 ай бұрын
I've never understood why Feyenoord fans are so proud of De Kuip. It's a bit of a mess. The rake in the lower tier is ridiculously shallow, the exposed metalwork on the underside of the roof is like Meccano and lots of the seats are uncovered. The outer is a nice architectural idea, functionalism, but it has aged badly. There's a good reason they're looking to build a new stadium.
@lekkerkoffie86055 ай бұрын
Whahaha what a BS... Stadium is old (1937) but iconic and it's one of a kind. The atmosphere is great because of its shape.@@gordon1545
