My younger sister got married before me and am still not married. I don't understand how some people try to make it a big deal. I celebrated her like a sister should, my own turn will come and I know she will celebrate me too. It is not a big deal. The happiness of my sisters are important to me

Time and chance happeneth to them all. I'm 5 years older than my sister, she got married since 2018 and has two children now. I'm not yet married and that doesn't make me less of who I am. God is faithful and makes all things beautiful in His time. Our battles ain't the same. You might just be the way maker for your younger siblings and until you are done, you might not be released by God. Shalom!

Lessons: - sometimes we miss our blessings by not celebrating or being genuinely happy for the blessings of others. - You might be delaying your long awaited blessings by blocking someone else's blessings - The measure you give out, is the same measure you get out. - Be happy for others and God will intend bless you beyond your expectations. - God blesses us individually thus one man's blessing cannot hinder another's...be happy and keep a heart of gratitude Thank you The Winlos...You all are a blessing to us.

I got married before my big sister. She got married a little less than two years after me. We are both happy. She is supported me during my wedding. God has blessed her too. Some times God decides to give you one thing before the other. For one it could be a job for another marriage. It just depends on the plan he has for you. Trust the process. Your own turn will come.

God is good. I didn't marry before my immediate younger sister. I supported her with joy in my heart. I grew spiritually. I serve the LORD. That is my biggest win. Loving God and doing his bidding. Let me add that, sometimes when people face such a situation, it can be hard but put your trust in the LORD, he doesn't love anyone less. I went through challenging times, that my sister didn't go through. The LORD was refining me in the process. Everyone has their waiting and manifestation time. The person you envy today may not have the best of it. God is able to beautify you, if you wait sincerely on him.

It's not a big deal, my younger sister marrying before me should not make me bordered because a times the ways of God is not our own way. My younger sister is engaged and will soon have her wedding I don't even have a man in my life and am genuinely happy for her because God really gave her the best. I believe mine will come. This happens with in-laws too. My sister in-law is older than my husband so the in-laws refused for us to do a wedding until she does hers. She’s getting married in 2 months and God’s timing has been good as we’re expecting a baby when she does her wedding.

its funny I had this same conversation with my own family two months ago. It was an aunty who said to me that since I am the oldest, I should get married before my younger brother. I said to her and my mom it does not work like that, just because I am the oldest it doesn't mean that I should get married first. Who makes these rules? There is nowhere in the bible that it says that the oldest should get married before the youngest sibling.

Yes, you're right, besides that, there might be a reason (spiritually) why God wants your brother to get married first, which we might not be aware of...in all, God's timing is the best and we must always pray not to miss His perfect timing for our lives.

Sister, please don't think that way anymore. Just pray that God will perfect all that concerns both of you. You can't tell God to wait o. My aumty waited for her older sister. Right now, we cannot say whether she is in a marraige or not. It's as if she stinks to the man but when the man was really ready she said she wanted to wait for her older sister. We need to get rid of mentalities that sound good but not Godly. Look at Jacob and Esau, even when Jacob placed the right hand on Joseph's younger son. A wise older one, should focus on the Lord not his or her younger one. When you face the Lord, he will order your steps.
