Arfa ji..Love your works. The role of media in a democracy is best exemplified by reporters like you where real issues confronted by the people are primarily given space. The discussion today with the intellectuals was in fact very informative which was based on political logic and the pulse felt around the neighbourhood. If only fifty percent of the eighty percent Hindus vote for a party, that party will rule the country for many years. India cannot afford to have a coalition governmnet where every second person wants to be the PM. Pakistan is scared of Modi, they will start their terrorism again if any coalition governmnet takes over. Either way, it is vote bank politics, for some it is the majority, and for others it is the minority.
