Many years ago, I became aware of my thoughts, they were filled with negative past experiences. Because of this awareness, I am able to switch my thoughts to something happy. It wasn't easy at first. It definitely takes time. But it is well worth it.

How do you come out of trauma? When you know that past incidents happened because of the reality, you can't get out of trauma. Just becoming aware of your thoughts won't help. When you know you're not enough a man, your voice is funny and you aren't as useful as others to build this world. You really have a problem!!

Threw out my years I learned to extinguish bad thoughts in a small mater of time and fill it with calm soothing thoughts it's worked for me . I give off the expression that I don't give a dam simply because I don't have worry on my face.

In the past few years I went through all negative emotions and i had been suffering from irritation, anger&anxiety then one question frequently was arising in me 'why should I suffer' , then I focused what's happening in me. Over a period of time i came to understand that these negative thoughts are stored and repeating in me even though i wish to be positive. It's not only me every creatur Or animal is the same thing, here I realized that whatever is happening it's just a life process. When I divide this into good &bad and given too much importance to this perspective then I suffered alot. Now I clearly see that what ever be the opinions are made by this world are meaningless, because this world looks me like nothing. '🔅 Be joyful and humble to everything, BUT Not for thr MiND🔅'👍 Thanku🔸🔸🔸

All of us feeling ugly because we did not go to darshan,we did not make our own decisions,we drink we smoke were broken and still waiting on somebody to fix us.sadhguru talks to you personally, directly to you,but you never sat in a room with him,instead of investigating the nature of this ,we make assumptions,if you decided at 6 pm,or 7 pm ,or 8 pm,I will sit down alone and have commune with creator,he will indeed speak to you,in whichever voice you prefer or elect,if you hear your guru,this is what a guru can do,he is not on the other end of the line,even though his voice has manifest,his conscience and conscienceness,is definitely there,as is all of humanities,everyone who ever lived,and the thoughts,and experiences are there as well,we call it collective consciousness,it is at your disposal,what to do with it?this is the faucet sadhguru spoke of,it flows regardless of you,you can stand under it and become clean,or stand under it and be drowned,it is entirely up to you.this video was speaking on the power of your thoughts,and troublesome indeed the man who can breath life into a cancer with merely thoughts.this is how we destroy ourselves.

Claptrap, you can't just turn off negative thinking as it is based on previous negative life experience. You can not just erase negative experience from your mind

You are correct, you cannot just turn off negative thinking. But you can slowly, but steadily, condition your mind, through regular meditation practice, to control your mind and thoughts so that they do not control you. You can learn to dis-identify (disassociate) from your negative thoughts so that you are not troubled by them or controlled by them, thereby controlling your mood and feelings to be more and more happy, joyful and ultimately blissful. So its not claptrap. Just because you have past negative life experiences doesn't mean that you live constantly in a negative mood. You can still have moments of feeling good or even happy, even if you've had past negative experiences. And with meditation, you can learn to control your mind so that it thinks more and more of positive joyful thoughts and less and less negative thoughts. Meditation is only one tool to control your thoughts so that you heal yourself with pleasant thoughts instead of constantly harming and hurting yourself with negative thoughts. Now, allow me to give you a positive thought, which is you are an awesome, wonderful person, who is very blessed and fortunate to be alive. And You are loved. Namaste, and take care of yourself, you magnificent person.

@@LowCostVideo you just confirmed what I said actually. Meditation as well as other similar stuff does not solve problems from the past but helps coexist with them. Making things appear not so bad as they really are. It's like anasthesia for life. Alcohol and drugs also do the same. It lets you feel better for some time without regard to the current state of affairs. Yeah, you can stop negative thinking up to a point but the real problems that poison people's lives lie way deeper in our psyche than any words or thoughts can express. Though I must admit that most people don't seek solutions but merely consolation. That aforementioned "anasthesia". Because real WORKING solutions demand real unpleasant and disturbing work upon yourself, it is always ambiguous, paradodoxical and uncertain. And it way harder than just sitting in the lotus pose and chanting "ommmm". If it is enough for you I am sencerely happy for you bro, but if a person complicated enough and seeks for relieable ways to change his life, Sadhuru is no help for him.

Sadhuru is taking about "mind" not "brain"... So one must use pictures that represent the "mind".. better not to use " brain" pictures.. for it will create further misunderstandings in the viewers mind... NOTE: "mind" is subtle or metaphysical, " brain and body" is physical...
