LOVEBITES, with the new formation welcoming the new bassist ""Fami"", will release its fourth original album on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The limited editions A and B will have a documentary video of the auditions including an interview with the band on the day of the bassist auditions and an interview with Fami, who was still one of the finalists then. They will also include the four full studio sessions of ""The Hammer Of Wrath,"" ""Golden Destination,"" and ""Shadowmaker,"" as well as ""Bravehearted,"" the first song the five members played together after Fami joined the band.

I remember your earlier amazement at this band. Welcome back! They actually used the pandemic and their hiatus to do the impossible, which was to get even better. On top of two of them having babies--no big deal, right? It's kinda crazy.

Glad you got to this. Beyond amazing. Fami's technical style adds a new layer to the Lovebites sound. Miho was an old school 80's thrash metal style bassist who finger picked really fast and kept in step with Haruna's drumming. Fami not only does that, but she kind of moves over to Miyako and Midori as a 3rd lead, especially during the solo. Her bass lines are insane. Asami's vocals are he best I've heard from her. What a way to come off of hiatus.

In my humble opinion, Lovebites have become the gold standard in metal music nowadays. And now with Fami and her insane talents on the bass onboard, they are taking their talents as a band to the next level. I cannot wait until the album comes out. I have a feeling we are going to be punched in the throat very hard and loving every minute of it!!!

Can’t believe I’m this early lol. So happy you’re getting to see/hear this masterpiece. Miho, the bassist, who was one of the founders of Lovebites along with Haruna, left the band so they put it out for any bassist female or male to audition. Quite a few of those auditions were posted on KZfaq. Fami has a massive following, and has quite a unique style of playing. She’s quite young too, only 20 I believe. I think she’s an awesome fit for Lovebites. I was thinking how cool would be for them to start a concert with this wearing those capes and hoods!

Music by Asami & Mao; mild surprise. Lyrics by Asami, no surprise. Fami is 20yo, she plays bass, guitar, keyboards, and sings. She has a YT channel well worth checking out. Her announcement video of being selected for Lovebites is adorable, she's talking a million miles an hour with excitement. Good solo video of her is her "Alien Alien" cover. Midori is "Ripped", she competed in some Fitness Contests, Fami has a Rockstar hairdo, and Haruna has gone pink!!! Can't wait for a collaboration of Miyako and Fami, Fami has already been to Miyako home studio.

The thing that amazes me, is Fami Only 20 years old. For some people, maybe "20 years is old", wtf? I can only imagine the amount of work, effort and passion to become a bass player than can play in this band. Just think that the rest of the band is more on the 30 "something". She is at least 10 years young and she is playing like a beast. Yes, of course she is talented, but talent without a lot of hard work, is nothing She starts her KZfaq channel with about 16 years only. No one become a great musician without a lot of hard work The kind of work like "can i stop to practice?... well, are your fingers bleeding?... no, not yet... well, you can practice a few hours more" I´m happy just to think in the kind of bassist she can become in another 10 years.

Great reaction! The new bassist Fami is 20 years old and has a huge following. Fami can play guitar, keyboard, and sing. (Maybe I can play the drums too) Furthermore, "Fami's signature model" has appeared on the base made by Bacchus. She's a terrifyingly talented girl! 素晴らしい反応！新しいベーシストのファミは20歳で、膨大な数のフォロワーを持っています。ファミはギターもキーボードも弾けて、歌も歌えます。(たぶんドラムも叩けるかも) 更にバッカス製のベースでは「ファミのシグネチャーモデル」が出ています。恐ろしい実力の女の子です！

I would like to pay tribute to Asami(Vo) and Miyako(G and P) for achieving such good results while raising their children. Fami(Ba) has fitted in better than expected in such a short period of time. Each of them has improved their level and LOVEBITES did not waste the long break. P.S. You will be amazed by new bassist Fami's slapping and fast finger picking. If you watch "Alien Alien" on her KZfaq channel, which was uploaded 4 years ago with 10,470,000 listens on her content, you will be amazed at her world-class slapping skills. With the addition of new bassist Fami, the trio Harmony Shredder has become a reality. Fami is a five-string bassist who can dance, sing, and play, and boasts 669,000 KZfaq subscribers. Fami is 20 years old with a cute smile. Fami will turn 21 on 1 June 2023.

one thing I like about Japanese metal girl, they don’t need to dress like bike gang or someone from Mad Max to be intimidating or actually imitate the male image in someway . feminine appeal and brutal metal coexist no problem.

Suzi, you were blocking our view of the video. It would help if the presenters were made smaller and set into a corner and the video take the main screen. That means the presenters would be obscured rather than the video being presented. Just an idea.
