“The L Word” returns to Showtime this Sunday with a sequel series that dives right back into the lives of Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals), Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey) and Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig). But the eight-episode show, dubbed “L Word: Generation Q” will also introduce a new generation of queer Angelenos to the mix, including Dani Nùñez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas) and Gigi (Sepideh Moafi), as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in L.A.
And Beals says that “Generation Q” component is one of the main reasons you got “The L Word” back - “because every generation deserves their series of love stories, really.”
