I played this with all my friends who are better at chess than me, and almost every single time I would win by just taking one pawn up the whole board

1 tip for every piece Pawn - Your Allies automatically track every piece. Watch where they fire to see where the enemy is. Rook - You can 1 shot any piece to the head, and only other Rooks can survive 2 body shots (at least, last I checked Knight - The only piece that isn't hitscan, but it's very high damage. Make sure you lead your shots. Bishop - You can use your grenade to fling yourself in the air, then your wings to go nearly anywhere from there. Queen - Don't always hold a piece. It can block your own shots too. King - Get close. You may have bad range, but your health is pretty good, and you deal... a perfectly balanced amount of damage-

That last pawn was on a whole other level compared to the other pawns

This is actually so funny, DF says theres a way to lose very quickly a reference to 'scholars mate', then proceeds to play two pieces in the right order to make it possible to checkmate himself. If AI was smarter, it would indeed have checkmate him turn 3, what an ironic foreshadowing

As someone who likes strategy games yet never played any FPS, this is stressful lol. I would lose instantly I guess.

These fights seem to take a long time. So they took chess, already a game that can last hours, and made each capture take even longer. Seems like a fun game. I do not have the time to be playing it.
