Last year fans at Bangkok enjoyed this song live with F.Hero as a special guest for the third time performing together after this live version 2019 in Japan, but everyone enjoyed this in every concert, it's a hit they don't wanna miss in any of their setlist, except for rare events. The title is in reference to the papaya fruit used to make a popular Thai salad. Is a fun song to represent and celebrate the mix between these two great cultures, and fans at the World Tour 2023 and more recently at Legend MM enjoyed this song. If you want another rare live performance with Latin rhythm vibes you got "Night Night Burn" live at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020, or with Indian influence like "Shanti Shanti Shanti" official MV, better yet if you look for "folky" vibes then you got "Oh! MAJINAI" ft. Joakim Brodem live at Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 or Budokan 2021, you'll notice almost every BM song got their own unique dance choreo. This song belongs to 3rd album "Metal Galaxy" released in 2019 but this one as well many more songs are exploring a different Babymetal side, sometimes more mature, but trying to not lose their fun. The footage of this was took from BABYMETAL AWAKENS: The Sun Also Rises 2019 in Yokohama Arena Japan, F.Hero was invited for this, the night before he was really in panic with the amount of people and even throwing all out after the show, It ain't easy to face that crowd, especially after receiving some negative critics from BM fans who didn't like his participation on this, fortunately he recover from this and received a warming welcome. Also that night they introduced the _avengers_ system, a group of three backup dancers filling the third spot that YuiMetal left (she left the group in 2018). They rotate so not always you'll see the same one on stage, usually the live official MV before 2020 is with Kano Fujihira, she started this when having 14 years old, so young like our girls back in their early days. None of them have mic or sing and aren't official members, they just dance. But remember that status changed last year when MomoMetal was announced as a new official member. Again, the one you saw in this live compilation isn't MomoMetal but Kano-chan as an avenger. Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This popular and exhilarating song was performed in every BABYMETAL's gig in their 2023 world tour. And so was it on the Day-2 (March 3) of Legend-MM show this year. In June 2019, F. Hero came all the way to Japan from Thai for the world premiere of this song in the two-day shows and he had been very nervous to perform at a huge arena in foreign country. At the premiere performance, Su-Metal shouted "Come on F. Hero!" to summon him and at the end of this song she screamed "Thank you F. Hero!" then the three girls bowed deeply towards him to show their respect. That scene makes me happy. When you attend their show someday, you will come to know it is very hard to keep swinging towel above your head for 4 minutes all along. It is fun. though 😄 .

I dont really like normal Metal that much, but when i saw them First time i reactet exactly like you and wantet more and around that time they went to Germany in Munich so i went to the Concert (First one ever) and it was the best Idea ever it was Just amazing and the Feeling was exactly like in the Videos. And since then ( i think its called) Kawaii-Metal and Babymetal as one is one of my favourite Genre in music. Monochrome live at pia, road of resistance at pia, and megitsune at pia, then when you go to their earlier days you will see the comparison when they were young. But in all honesty all live babymetal is epic

'PA PA YA' is a summer festival song - and they're going hard singing and dancing about a spicy Thai papaya fruit salad.🥝 Such a good live song, it really gets the whole crowd jumping and waving towels round their heads (Su, Moa and Momoko love to see everybody doing that and we love to see them happy, so everybody brings or buys a towel specially for this song). F Hero flew in to Japan from Thailand specially to perform on the first two nights of BABYMETAL's 2019 tour (that was where he was filmed - this is the official video so the audio is from the studio recording - there is a video with the live audio around and it is even better). They performed in Bangkok in Thailand as part of their world tour last year and F Hero made another special guest appearance. F Hero was rapping in this song to the same rhythm as mixing the ingredients for the salad with a mortar and pestle. They are pretty much saying that, much like the salad, mixing the right spices in the right amounts into life will make that better too.🦊

I am so glad that you talked about how you were proud of them. That is something I think people misunderstand about BABYMETAL fans. For those who have followed these women since they were children in Sakura Gakuin, there is a great sense of pride in watching them achieve their dreams and sharing in their joy of performing. I hope you get to see them in concert sometime; I have a feeling you would be consumed by the euphoria that comes from the energy their performance. I am not going to tell you what to listen to next as I am sure lots of other fans have already given you their suggestions but I do ask that you closely follow their suggestions to avoid live videos that splice too many concerts together. Good reaction. Welcome to the crazy universe of BabyMetal. BabyMetal is an atypical heavy metal group, because they are idols. In Japan, idols are often paired with pop music (Jpop), and Babymetal was actually a subgroup of a larger idol group called Sakura Gakuin. Sakura was made up of girls between 10 and 15 years old dedicated to Jpop. When SuMetal (the singer) started she was 12 years old and MoaMetal/YuiMetal (the backup singers) were only 10 years old. Sakura represented the Japanese high school and the girls were distributed in clubs (traditional Japanese extracurricular activities such as cooking, swimming, basketball, sewing, etc.). One of the producers, a lover of heavy metal, saw that Su's singing could perfectly be used in metal and asked permission from the Mother House (Amuse) to create the heavy music club, proposing an experiment in fusion between metal and the pop. Nobody, as they themselves have confessed, had much hope for its outcome, but they gave it the green light and thus BabyMetal, Sakura Gakuin's heavy music club, was born. The first songs were intended for girls between 10 and 15 years old, who were Sakura's target audience. However, their quality and the fusion between pop and metal attracted attention beyond this audience and they began to frequent their metal concerts... a shocking audience of children and metalheads. And it worked, it worked so well that they began to support groups like Metallica, Red Hot, BMTH or Lady Gaga, I seem to remember, on their tours in Japan. And the Red Hot singer commented that he was impressed to realize that part of the public came to see them, not them. And so the base of BabyMetal fans grew. Sakura was a group in which, upon turning 15, the members had to leave (to pursue their careers elsewhere) and the producer (KobaMetal) requested permission again to create BabyMetal as an independent group. Success was already beginning to become a reality in Asia, so they authorized it, although Moa and Yui (they were still 13 years old) would also continue to be part of other Sakura clubs (I don't know when the poor girls studied, but they did). In 2014 a milestone would arrive in the group's history. They were already an established metal group in Asia that sold out concerts, but they had not yet made the leap to the West. In that year his song "Gimme Chocolate" rose to fame on KZfaq (currently 182M views) and attracted the attention of the producers of the Sonisphere festival. Love your reaction and attitude mate, spread the BM love. Try Akatsuki, Buddakan black night 2014, Su at her very best at 16 years old, her talent and voice are second to none and her stage presence and crowd control are radicalise. .

They are ALWAYS best live really - but not "official" MVs/videos - you miss out on intros (many are amazing), the band, subtitles and crowd reactions at a minimum - with studio often replacing the live music). Great reaction to a unique group - but DO try genuine live - they will knock your socks off - everything is WAY more impactful. Strangely enough they do seem to engender a feeling of pride for a lot of people (me too :P) - with it only increasing as you learn/see more of them and their history. Great reaction!

To me Megitsune is their "calling card" song that epitomizes their music. At some point you need to watch that performance. They did a breakthrough performance in their early years at Sonisphere festival in England that really put them on the map in the West. Their YT Channel has a video of "Ijime,Dame,Zettai" from that concert which is a must see.

Like Suzuka and Moa before her, Kano was Student Council President her last year in Sakura Gakuin and like Yui, was considered arguably the best dancer in SG during her time there. She is now a member of the Idol group @onefive, which is comprised of 4 Sakura Gakuin graduates (Kano, Momo, Soyo and Gumi). Kano only performed with BABYMETAL in Japan as she could not travel, likely due to her commitments to Sakura Gakuin and the then developing @onefive. This is a huge step into Babymetal. Give me chocolatec was not their first Song but it was their first stanaized song. And to put you into the correct frame, thy have their own audience, about 40% females and all ages between 5 and 85 visit their concerts. You have to imagine in the beginning they were between 12 and 10 and pretty much afraid of metal, but theirvmanager had ideas. So he showedvthem their first Metal concerts. Their manager had his problem withvthe japanes metal scene that was mainly men that got older and older. So their first song doki doki morning had more other influences than metal. But his vasic idea to mix other genres wit metal was the right idea. But U would say they didn't create a new genre, instead they opened the japanese metal market forvother influences. The japanese metal scene was tiny and they became the international most successful japanese band. For japanese metal bands it is now totally normal to mix different genres.

You can't really judge their vocals if you haven't checked out their live stuff. You're missing out! Anyone can sound good in the studio, but not everyone can sound even better live. That's what set them apart from most singers and idols

Theychad only a rough designation in their contracts to 10 years Babymetal. They were asked in 2018 if they wanted tobterminate after Yui left them due to health reasons. Thisvis alwayscthe problem with and for dancers. And they reallyvhadvtrouble to find their way 2019 distortion showedvthem into a rotally new look till they got back with thecAvenger idea. But after Corona they came back to Koba with new ideas . They wanted their current Avenger as the third Metal. And 2023 wascreally the year when they nade in AprilbMomo to the third metal and startedcavWorld Tour 95 concerts and 250.000 guests put them back on stage and madecthemvto showrunners in most festivaks World Wide. They have alrwady invitations by F. Hero for Thailand together with Bodyslam. I'm Japanese. Thank for your great reaction. BABYMETAL's members are famous star (acting in TV. CM. etc) in Japan from when a child. And the agency they work for is the largest listed entertainment company in Japan. So they are all-around entertainers rather than musicians.😀

For me the best Babymetal was when they were still in high school when Yui was still in the band. They were so adorable. My favourite is Amore. ❤
