Bruh it’s hard af to make it to the league. Even players who you know can produce at that level can barely make it. As for this game, I don’t think the other team was better. It just took BiL too long to adjust to the physicality and style of play.

Letting Rob and JLew iso drive was their best shot. Rob has the strength and speed to blow by them and JLew is just to quick for them. Moon and Ty are both too weak so they were easier to contain. Also Ty kept taking terrible jumpers.

It’s not even about skill level at that point. You’re getting out rebounded which equates to 2nd chance points. They did what they could, just wasn’t enough

In another video someone mentioned the court seems crooked and I have to agree. There was a LOT of airballs, especially from the right side. Probably quite windy too. I think it added a lot of randomness to the game.

This is the worst I’ve ever seen you guys play. I know it’s a mixture of guys but zero chemistry and despite being far more skilled, the opps size and length was too much to overcome. BIL squad would eventually figure it out after a game or two but they really needed Monstar.

Team Rio played too much individual basketball instead of working together, and everyone was air balling a lot, the orange team won because they had the size and height, but they also worked together, if team Rio would’ve worked together, they would’ve had a chance to win in my opinion, Mario Chalmers was telling them to work together, but they didn’t listen to what he was saying.

Yes the team was much bigger but if they gave that effort they gave starting after halftime they win this. They let them be so comfortable at the start walking in the paint and too many 1v1 buckets when they couldn’t shoot.

They need to move the ball and set screens and just go to the cup. One hesi and a hard dribble driving either way will put them on the heels and they can go from there. Moon has that as well as JLew..moon give them one hesitate and drive hard, they won't be able to recover and he can then kick out to Rob who can just shoot it or anyone who is open

BIL crew took too long to get hot and gave an 8 point lead during half time (7-15). I noticed that their Defence on the first half are bad against quick passes / alley-oops; lots of them froze or don’t know what to do. I agree with other comments saying that playing Iso ball is their best bet, since their 1v1 defence is better and have higher chance of scoring. There was a lot of rebounds that BIL could capitalize on, but whenever someone shoots (especially 3s), there’s almsot no one that comes to box out or attempt a rebound. The big guy from other team seems to be able to mess with Ty with its trash talk and movement during the first half. That seems to slow down Ty from doing his usual thing / be on fire. Missed chance to use Rob’s 3 points by giving him more screen or rotations. Then again, the court and the wind mess up both teams’ shooting % Is there limited substitution? Cause if not, then they should ball real hard every time they’re in the court, and sub often to maximize the scoring opportunities. Overall, if they can have less point differences during the first half, they might still be able to win.

Team Rio should’ve had one person dribbling the basketball and everyone else should’ve been on each corner ready to shoot, the one person that was dribbling could drove to the rim, causing the orange team to collapse in, leaving open shots for team rio, team rio should’ve played smarter not harder.

They got out played by guys who can’t shoot , can’t dribble just straight tallness and strength it shows you how bad they played , Ty shooting terrible shots instead of using his speed and athleticism to attack get a foul , Rob forced some shots instead of keep attacking as he was they can’t stop him , all they needed to do was foul those guys they can’t shoot and keep attacking the rim i rather they beat me out of free throws then bully me down in the post 🤣💯

Even if court is lopsided you have to adjust to it ty shot them out the game moon dribbled them out the game there best hope was jlew & rob , idk why jlew don’t start over moon besides his defense being bad cause he’s small. They need to set off ball screens as well

Do you call them real compettion because they won? Size does matter and the hoopers can only play 3v3 or half court as they lack the skill, speed and probably the stamina to play 5v5 or full court.

Now you see what happens when these guys face competition that knows how to play organize ball and is as big or bigger than them. Yeah the Ballislife crew usually go to parks and play against scrubs or players, who only play basketball recreationally. Meanwhile, most members of the crew have played at least D2 or D1 basketball. Yes, there’s levels of basketball and what we came to realize when these KZfaqrs ex college Hoopers like to do they like to put on a show against weaker competition a.k.a. regular park plane dudes 😂 usually they are like 5’8 but in this video and many others BallisLife got exposed this time they could not use their size against the competition. The competition had size and athleticism over them and all of them got humbled throughout the game in the beginning. Ty didn’t want no smoke but let someone who is like 5’11 be guarding you’re gonna see him talking shit doing all that extra shit but you saw his match up in this game. From the beginning of the game. Ty knew this was a different beast. This was a different monster.
