I think one interesting thing about this band that isn't talked about much is the fact that all five of their albums have gone platinum. There are very few, if any, other artists on the planet that can make that claim. It is quite impressive. That is a 100% success rate. They never had a flop.

I and countless others were horrificly scammed by RATM's first producer Garth Richardson at a "school" created by him (one young man died via poor choices made in trying to pay the school's prices which bordered on extortion), so RATM turning out to be fake is no surprise.

Made great, timeless music. Can't take that away. But to then them hypocrites is an understatement. @RAWMUSICTV ok ill tell you where I'm coming from - there is a comment at 20:18 sounds like you're implying the stunt in front of the NYSE was intended to keep BOLA in the charts for charts or moneys sake. At 21:45 you "ask hypothetically" how passionate could you really be about your beliefs if you decide to give up that fight. At around 24:00 you state bluntly that "some people" accused RATM of being in it for the cash. You don't say who, or give any opinion on whether they were or were not. There are other occassions where you imply that RATM were naiive or dishonest as to the contradiction of their position within the system as a major label band with an anti capitalist message. They were never un-alert to it - its why they broke up. Those sorts of comments, hypotethicals, and vague third party reportings are (taken together) cynical. If you want to give your opinion, say "in my opinion". As far as im concerned - in my opinion - whatever you might think of RATMs message or their strategy, they were never insincere and (in my opinion) that sort of presentation does a disservice to your work and theirs.

It is not required to preface an opinion with the phrase "In my opinion" in order to state an opinion. Questioning the motives of a person or persons is not cynical. This narrative has existed for many years and is well documented in regards to the actions & motives behind Rage Against The Machine. They broke up due to creative differences and internal conflict. This is well documented, I even include a quote from Tom Morello regarding this.
