To the best of my knowledge, mobs do an "aggro check" every few seconds. If someone aggroes a mob and runs past you, it can aggro onto you. It's a very small chance, unless, you attack it or the other player "drops aggro" by using an ability like "Vanish". If they "drop aggro", then the mob will go after the next person on the aggro table, which could be you, especially if you are the only one else around. That's why when playing vanilla, you be Cedric the Entertainer, when you see someone else run, you run.

Lots of easy mistakes in this one. Never fight mobs underwater. Pull them to the surface.

Never face backwards to mobs Never fight in a center where mobs spawns are around you Never... I wish had a good cam and become a pro in the scene. I know exactly what will be the cause of death in game and what they needed to do to prevent it.

That's news to me actually. I remember dying from falling in gnome a bunch of times. But then again it might have been because of lackluster private server scripts^^ Or the location was different.

OP is correct. rewatch circuit 2 hardcore allstars season 1 gnomer part if you wish to be convinced of that. However invisible wall is only in that location, not in all parts of gnomer.

@Muffinman it 100% was. I painstakingly farmed pummelers from MC to Naxx in classic so I would get knocked into that barrier plenty of times after Backstab openers

Saw a trio go down today at like lvl 40.. been seeing them for about a week now in all the same spots I go to hogging up the mobs AoEing everything with crazy pulls. Felt so dam good to see it catch up to them

The guy who drowned is a clown too. He just had to fucking finish off the mob first before getting breath. He could have easily survived by FIRST GETTING breath and then finishing the enemy.

"Demonic Sacrifice" is an other spell. You mean "Sacrifice" from the voidwalker. Even with the Sacrifice shield on, I don't think he would have survived such a fall. But it was worth a shot.

That's most "HC" players. Very few are really HC, most just keep playing after their toon gets DQ'ed.

It is a challenge run keen to hardcore modes like in diablo for example. Once your character dies, you have to delete it (with a few exeptions, like griefs and DCs and so on) Players who seek the thrill participate in it. There are addons and guilds that make the whole experience a bit more immersive, but there are no official HC servers as of yet. So you have to delete your hero yourself if you really wanna go through with it.

I "accidentally" killed a guy today in the caves where Boss Copperplug is for the Samophlange quest. I was stealthed above the spawn waiting for some people to clear out the trash in front of him. The plan was to drop down and kill Copperplug when they pulled.... worked like a charm. Then I saw them pull something else and were getting respawns behind them. I tried to help as one of the guys I just ran RFC with but shit just got nuts and I sprinted out of the cave aggroing every mother fucker back to the entrance. Once I got out .. I saw him on the deathlog. I think they just pulled respawns and would have died anyways... my escape didn't help.

@@MuffinmanWoW I’ve narrowed it down to holding space bar while a movement impairing ability is applied to the player. So any mob that has such an ability or you allow yourself to be dazed can trigger this DC.

last clip the druid healer was so bad...he legit turned his back the whole duration...even when unrooted for a second this guy does not even care a tad bit...not to mention that shapeshifting frees you from root but ok

None of these are on PvP realms, and almost nobody flags themselves. Griefers basically just stand around and hope you attack them, because, unlike retail, you cannot turn off your ability to attack. Of course, when you gank the griefers they report you, lol.

You can just play the game, and delete if you die. No one is forcing you to play by the hc addon rules. All of the ego and imaginary respect you think you get, it's all in your head. Just play and have fun.

The character seemed so well built too. With professions and good equipment and all. I can completly understand players who wouldn't want to go through with this. But as it was with Diablo, some just seek the thrill.

I wish I had the free time to play hardcore classic. It looks like so much fun, and just what I would need to make the game interesting again. Sadly, I am not a professional streamer or an unemployed teen/young adult anymore. I just can't waste that kind of time these days, lol.
