If you look really closely he inverts his hand slightly. Therefore almost a 1/8 of a karate chop. Slick move

Myślę, że sędziowie faworyzowali Zalesia pod względem opuszczania brody. Ma krótką szyję, podgardle okazałe i nie widać, że szczęka jest mocno obniżona i pod skosem w porównaniu do innych zawodników. Ogółem 2 gale z nim oglądałem, oraz urywki z pierwszego jego występu i było to wszędzie widać. Gratulacje za pas zdobyty na Punchdown5, szacunek za dynamikę ciosu dla niego i parę w liściu, bo składał innych zawodników, ale powinni zwracać na to uwagę. Vasily też stosuje ten trik z brodą, bo ma krótką szyję.

I imagine it is actually quite difficult to target the slap properly on the right spot of the jaw as they move their heads just before the slap lands in hopes to cushion it.
