I’m starting to quite like this series😂 I love how real and human all the interactions are. It’s exactly the way I have been doing business for the past years. Eventually I quit because of the few bad apples that you get in terms of customers, I wish you’ll never encounter ones like I have, but if you do I’d love to see how you react!

Ayyy once again an excellent video! You’re tellin it like it is with flipping, sometimes it do be a pain in the but with broken parts and having to reason and negotiate with people and you never gloss over that fact. On another note I love the scenery and how you and your wife are dedicated to film despite the wind and waves haha I’m also a fan of how you go thru the messaging process with people and half talk about each sale, half explain the process for other people so they can follow and learn from you - in four episodes I have learned more about commissions from this flipping channel than any other, and you have inspired me to start my own local commission brand. On another note, I’d like to see more of the deal hunting and building process in your videos if that is something you would consider :) Overall just keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to more episodes.

That point about keeping sold listings up is nice. I didn't think about using that as a way to get prospective buyers (especially for listings that have a lot of views). As to the used PC, you could probably reuse the case, motherboard and storage with a better CPU and GPU. Then use the 3100 to test future used AM4 motherboards (or build a budget PC to give away or sell cheaply). For valuing trade-ins, I just look at what I would pay for similar parts if I were to buy them seperately and use that valuation when reducing the price of the PC. With that said I tend to say no (or offer very little) when people offer me Acer, Dell and HP pre-builts as they have less useful parts (often can't reuse the motherboard, PSU and case with those).

It is very overwhelming trying to pick parts out for a pc. I am a beginner and trying to build my first pc myself which I already bought two parts being a Ryzen 5 7500f cpu and a Apevia Prism case. I plan on getting either a 6700xt or a 6750xt gpu (whichever is the cheapest when I decide to buy it) with a ASRock B650 pro rs wifi motherboard. I'll figure out the rest, but seeing these kinds of videos is always interesting for what you can make for a budget build!

Hey man, Commenting about that last part in the video with the trade in. I build and sell PCs myself and to me, I will always value trade in PCs judging by their part costs for the main parts of the system such as CPU, Motherboard and GPU. However, I will also take into consideration the price of those parts compared to other parts around the same or lower price. And the reason for this is because it's not worth it for any PC flipper to buy or receive trade in parts at a lower price to performance than possible to purchase yourself. You also want to take into consideration that you ideally would want to profit off the new trade in system as well and not just sell it to get your trade in value back in cash, now you could buy a better GPU, swap the RX 550 for something like a 970 4gb or 1060 6gb to make an alright beginner PC and sell it like that (which is probably what I'd do). Or you could just sell the PC as is. So basically long comment short, what I would do is price the parts, compare the parts, and think through possible ways of making the PC more attractive as a flip for potential customers for it (new GPU?) and make a chart of what it'd cost to see if its worth and how much you'd need to buy in the trade in PC for. I always think of the trade in PCs as a regular PC purchase if that makes sense, so I'd need around the price I would personally be interested in it for to be able to accept it as trade in if that makes sense. To answer your question about the evaluation of the trade in PC: -If I were to purchase it, I would buy a gtx 970 or a 1060 6gb for the PC and perhaps some aesthetical stuff like RGB if it dosen't already have some. This would cost around $100 total in my local market with the GPU swap and some aesthetical changes if it needs some. -Listing price would be around $350-450, where I'm currently at the market would probably see such a PC go for $450 so that's what I would list it for. -So the cost is around $100+Trade in Evaluation and will most likely sell around $400. From there you can decide how much of a profit margin you'd need to make it worth your while. I would personally do $100 for the trade in value and then profit around $200 if nothing else is needed for the PC. The $200 would pay for the time to clean, sourcing and installing new parts, freshen up the pc, repaste cpu gpu, benchmark and stress test and finally to take the pictures and list the pc which I think is fair. Apologies for the long comment if you do end up reading it, love the PC content and been doing PC flips for about a year myself and I absolutely love it and it's going really really well. Keep it up! :)

Hello thanks for the video, im curious on the ibuypower ryzen 3 3100 system, is it salvageable? is it a retail board or a chinese clone board in there? can we upgrade the cpu to something cheap like a 3600 and will it boot in that board? and what kind of power supply came with it so we can install an RX 580 or something else? or bus powered only options such as a 1650? thx 😊
