Thyda, this is an amazing Christening dinner party. The food looks so exquisite and definitely delicious tasting with so much aromatic herbs and spices. In the USA the baby shower is done before birth. I remembered my 3 Sisters had theirs one month before birthing their babies.

A baby shower is originated in the USA and it becomes common to the western countries. BABY SHOWER is the celebration of a woman to become a mother before birth the word SHOWER is to shower the mother with gifts. A 1 month party is Asian,I think it is originated from China celebration of a month old baby.

It looks like you all had an amazing time the fiod looks great ill have to try making that fried corn it looks interesting its not the way I make fried corn but there are many different ways I know a couple one from the Navajo nation and one i derived from the first kids like my way its not so spicy the kids slept well after all the dancing they wore me out watching them Ms Keseys little one is very cute cherish the time Ms Keseys they grow up so fast I wish you good luck happienes and health
