Movie: WeirdScience 1985
In the town of Shermer, Illinois, high school buddies Gary and Wyatt spend most of their time imagining being popular. Desperate to feel how it is to be with a beautiful lady, they try to create the perfect girl out of computer data and magazine centerfolds. They succeed wildly until their virtually-conceived girlfriend starts changing their lives in weird ways.

Well that’s what happens when investors run the show. If a movie is not a pre existing popular ip then why risk it. If the movie does not fit the standards for as many people possible then why make the film. Capitalism 101

Love this movie! When watching it for the first time my love for it only wavered once, when the boys sold out ride-or-die Lisa to be nice to the bullies for no apparent reason other than being utterly pathetic. I love rooting for underdogs but there's a line, when I'm asked to sympathize with people who are such sad sacks they can't act with any honor. Fortunately, unlike some movies, this one totally pulled it out in the end! I'm glad I stayed with it that first time, because it ended up being one of my all time favorites.

I watched this at the drive ins with my brother and his friend when Iwas 10. I remember chipping my tooth because I laughed so hard. I just realized now that Lisa is a demon or the devil, and Gary and Wyatt summoned a spirit.
