WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS? It’s just ridiculous.. today we have an interesting experience, I was contacted by a restaurant, and the gentleman then dared me to eat all of his food, and really wanted to “FILL ME”? Skeptical, I said I would hear him out and this is where things got interesting.. Today we had to Brian‘s place in Hernando Beach, Florida, (Tampa, Florida area), to a Latin and Italian fusion restaurant. Specializing in Florida seafood (Florida grouper, snapper), steaks, lots of crab and salmon, Italian specialties, and even Latin cuisine and Cuban food. It turned out they are supposed to be one of the best seafood restaurants & best steak restaurants in the area. Check out what happened in this eating video!

This guy just wrote your entire “meal” off as advertising. Genius restaurant owner to use you to advertise his menu to your audience. Almost like a paid sponsor, but he gets all the benefit.

No Joel for all sorts of benefit too. He’d have no video if business owners didn’t do these for him some of the time. And especially bc it allows him to not have to travel so far for every single video to find real challenges. He can now get a handful of extra videos at minimum out of every city after he’s done their challenges,,.. and he can’t keep doing the same challenges within short periods of time so would run out of videos even doing all those existing ones anyway. He gets a full video himself, he gets an incredible meal costing hundreds to thousands of dollars off the menu, and he gets all the content and food and idea for the video handed to him at no cost or time to him. This is absolutely mutually beneficial

@Jeffrey_L Seems like Mr Brian got the idea from the guys at the unassuming looking restaurant next to the gas station (also in Florida). This is a mutually beneficial concept that seems to work. It’s a relatively inexpensive but very good advertisement for the restaurant, and a new video for Joel, bringing in thousands of views and the money with it. And on top of it all, Joel gets to have a great meal for free 🙂

I've said it before, but any restaurant owner would be insane to not offer Joel any and everything on their menu. Reach nearly 800k people for a hundred bucks, or advertise to a couple thousand for thousands of dollars. Its a no-brainer. Joel rocks!

The Chef's plating is so beautiful, focusing on quality over quanity. And Joel's in depth commentary of each plate, and not rushing thru it, is an equally beautiful thing to watch! I loved the extra attention he paid to each dish, giving us amazingly descriptive commentary, even for him. Would LOVE to try this restaurant!

This wasn't a huge amount of food for Joel. It's just that it was a very heavy flavor which makes it very hard to eat. But Joel crushed it as usual!

Unless the challenge just has a really difficult time limit he never seems to rush IMO. These challenges with 1 hour time limits that he finishes in 27 minutes. I know without a doubt if he was just going crazy that he could beat a lot of them in 10, 12, 14 minutes.
