Bro I thought I overreacted when I cried and laughed watching the trailer but THIS guy, this guy is a whole other level! Love your enthusiasm dude and we’re all here with you!

He started crying upon realizing the main theme of The Legend of Zelda started playing. The song hits different when it came in to the trailer. And then to the part where the voice over said “But… you are not alone.” is really a powerful message, because “it’s dangerous to go alone” but this time, Link isn’t. This is the collective feeling of the fandom. We are not alone. We waited 6 years for this. We deserve it.

When you see a childlike happiness in an adult man, you can have have some faith that world will be fine after all. This is a fine example of such energy

I also love the blend of old (older/more linear Zelda games) and new (BotW's non linear approach). I know it in my bones, this game will be great.

Everytime a new game in this series comes out, I am in a completely new place in life. I played the first one when I got it for Christmas when I was 6 years old, and traded Double Dragon with a family friend to get Zelda II. I would visit my cousin's house to play A Link to the Past, and played through Link's Awakening with a flashlight in the back of my family's van on my Gameboy during a roadtrip to Oklahoma. I remember reading Nintendo Power articles about Ocarina of Time and opening it on Christmas morning, and I was too nervous about the time mechanic to complete Majora's Mask. I saved up to buy the GameCube to sail the seas in Windwaker, and opted into purchasing Twilight Princess on that console because I wanted to stay true to Link holding the sword with his left hand. I played through Skyward Sword and circled back through all the handheld adventures while my band was recording in Germany and later in California. When Breath of the Wild came out, my daughter was just born, and my daughter was sitting with me when they announced Tears of the Kingdom... Now, she is 6 years old, like me when I first began playing this series, and we play the game together, trading the controller when either of us die. It is a constant in my life. It is so wonderful seeing reactions like this, where people express so much joy from a series that is somehow bigger than life. It's hard to put into words. But thank you for sharing.

I know the feeling man. My mom and dad bought me ocarina of time as my 1st game and i fell in love with this game/series. My dad is fighting cancer now and this trailer made me happier than i had been during this tough time. It took me to happier times. Its almost that time man! Enjoy this game!

Ok, reaction aside, listening to your language is almost partially understandable because there’s a lot of English words or similar connotations of it. It feels the same way as when I hear Italian and Portuguese and understand some of it because it sounds like Spanish (I’m bilingual). It’s amazing how language works! And for your reaction, pure *chefs kiss*! I cried myself when I watched it for the first time, then proceeded to watch every KZfaqrs reaction videos and cried watching them. So, just know that I cried along with you, good sir! And what made me cry was definitely the use of all the songs and music from the past successors.
