Whereas Muslims believe that God protected Jesus(Peace be upon him)and saved him from humiliating him and crucifying ,and took him up to the heavens, and he will surely come back, live for a period of time and die as everyone

Ufff those verses perfectly describes the dispute between the scholars of the historical Jesus and the Christian Jesus. Their narratives are full of speculation, assumptions and wishful thinking. The Qur'an coincidentally clearly calls them out for their guess work. What is even more interesting is that this was revealed 1400 years ago and perfectly describes the sentiments surrounding the mystery of Jesus today. Simply amazing!

Paul said - If Resurrection had never happened, then Christianity would have crumbled to pieces. - Corinthians 15:14 Islam is Christianity's biggest nightmare. Allah says that Jesus was never killed, nor crucified. - Quran 4:157-158

*Definition of CRUCIFIXION* in all English and Ancient Arabic Lexicons is "TO KILL A PERSON ON THE CROSS". If Person is removed from Cross before his death, then that means: He is NOT CRUCIFIED. Words NOT CRUCIFIED translate into Arabic as "Wa Ma Salabuhu"= They did not Crucify him 4:157, which means: they did not kill him ON THE CROSS. In verse 4:157 words *"it was only made to appear so"* are Important. If we extrapolate words "it was only made to appear so" correctly, then it will be *"it was only made to appear as he has been Crucified".* We can rephrase same line as *_"it was only made to appear as he has been KILLED ON THE CROSS"_* Therefore; History Confirms and also verse 4:157 confirms that Jesus was indeed nailed on the Cross but he did not die on the Cross. Means: He was removed from the Cross (thinking that he is died) but he was not dead. This scenario makes Clear; they removed him from Cross when he was in so deep Coma that he looks to them/Resembled (Shubbiha 4:157) a dead body but he was not dead. God saved his Servant from dying on the Cross because in those days, Death on the Cross=Crucifixion was considered as CURSED death. Quran is the most beautiful Book as it fully explains itself through its own Tasreef. We can see word RAFA is used in many verses of Quran, and its meaning is TO RAISE in honor/Spiritual Exaltation. Same word RAFA appears in verse 4:158 too for Jesus, and its meaning is never TO RAISE body of Jesus to Sky but raise him in honor/Spiritual exaltation. When some thing is to be lifted up PHYSICALLY, then Quran has not used word RAFA but Yas'ad. In verse 35:10, in fact Quran has used both words RAFA and Yas'ad in same one verse 35:10 to show reader the difference between word RAFA and word Yas'ad Quran 35:10 He who desires might and glory [ought to know that] all might and glory belong to God [alone]. *Unto Him ascend (Yas'ad) all good words,* and the righteous deed does *He exalt* (Rafa). But as for those who cunningly devise evil deeds - suffering severe awaits them; and all their devising is bound to come to nought. (Asad) Quran 4:158 nay, God *exalted him* unto Himself - and God is indeed almighty, wise. (Asad) Dr. Mohammad Asad PhD has also commented on verse 4:158 as under: "cf: 3:55, where God says to Jesus, "Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me. *"The verb rafa ahu (lit., "he raised him" or "elevated him")* has always, whenever the act of raf’ ("elevating") of a human being is attributed to God, the *meaning of "honoring" or "exalting".* *Nowhere in the Qur’an is there any warrant for the popular belief that God has "taken up" Jesus bodily, in his lifetime, into heaven.* The expression *"God exalted him unto Himself"* in the above verse denotes the elevation of Jesus to the realm of God's special grace - a blessing in which all prophets partake, as is evident from 19:57, where the verb rafa nahu ("We exalted him") is used with regard to the Prophet Idris. (See also Muhammad ‘Abduh in Manar III, 316 f., and VI, 20f.) Hey Paul... this is one of the reasons that I have such a difficulty in accepting Islam. As a Christian believer, I believe the historical stories related to Jesus' crucifixion are not just "assumptions." If I did think they were assumptions, I could accept Islam much easier. The crucifixion, in my thinking, was Jesus' obedience to God the Father and if it was an "assumption" by followers and witnesses, then this would negate the whole mission of Jesus. So... I try to understand why "Allah" ( God ) would say this. Peace of God to you....

Hebrews 9:12-14 says about Jesus’ blood: “With his own blood-not the blood of goats and calves-he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.”

So Allah in his wisdom, created 2.2 billion Christians by making it appear that Jesus was crucified.

The verse actually says ( our hearts are uncircumcised ) similar to Leviticus 26:41 #corrupted_torah

As a non-Muslim, I respect your faith choices regarding Islam, but even as someone who doesn't follow an Abrahamic religion, I have to agree with Bart Ehrman who writes on his blog, "The crucifixion of Jesus by the Romans is one of the most secure facts we have about his life." While the New Testament does conflate genuine historical fact with legendary and mythical miracle stories, it's still clear that all the earliest sources about the life of Jesus claim he was crucified by the Romans. If anything in the New Testament is to be accepted as historical fact, it's that Jesus existed, he was a charismatic Jew who formed a group of disciples around himself, and that he died by crucifixion. Secular historians who have looked into the origins of Christianity generally agree on this basic set of facts, except for literally one or two (i.e. the atheist Robert Price) who are so skeptical of the worth of any early Christian texts that they deny Jesus ever existed. The idea that his crucifixion was "only made to appear so" first shows up about 150 years later in Gnostic literature as a response to a theological problem the Gnostics had. They believed that Jesus was a purely divine being with no human nature and who was therefore incapable of suffering and dying. So the crucifixion was a huge problem for them, which they "solved" by claiming that God miraculously transformed Judas Iscariot into the likeness of Jesus just before this impostor was crucified while the true Jesus (according to one Gnostic texts) stood on a hill nearby watching the spectacle unfold and laughing with a few of his closest disciples. I would claim that this idea of the crucifixion being made to "appear so" (stripped of its Gnostic elements) later found its way into Islam. Of course, if one believes that Allah can do anything, the claim that someone was miraculously made to look like Jesus so that the real Jesus could escape crucifixion is untestable and hence cannot be logically disproven, just as nobody can logically disprove a bizarre claim like Jesus was a space alien who made itself look like a human being so convincingly that nobody ever knew his true origin and used his super advanced alien technology to perform miracles like raising people from the dead. But my point here is that saying Jesus was crucified is the most reasonable conclusion for a non-Muslim (both Christian and non-Christian) to make on the basis of the available historical evidence. If those who hold this view "have no knowledge, only making assumptions," then that is basically disparaging the whole epistemological foundation upon which historical knowledge rests.

Jesus is a historical figure. We know him from documents. and not by revelation of angel or prophets. The oldest documents concerning Jesus date back to the first century of our era. And these are the documents of the Christian New Testament. Whatever difficulties one might encounter in these texts, they remain the best sources for getting an idea of ​​Jesus and the beginning of the Church. Historically, 600 years later, the Koran, the Hadiths and Islam as a whole have nothing to say (historically) about Jesus without the ancient documents. God is almighty and wise.

The empty tomb proves that no one was put in that tomb at all. The crucifixion story is a later fabrication by the author of the gospel of Mark, and he is the source for the other gospels. Mark didn't complete his story for some reason. If Mark's death is the assumption, didn't he have friends to complete his story? He had friends, but he wasn't telling them about it. None of his friends were aware of it. If Jesus crime was blasphemy, he should have been executed according to the Jewish Law by stoning, with the suspension by the hands on a wooden post (tree) after death (Acts 5: 30, 10: 39, KJV). A Jewish court could not have passed a sentence of death by crucifixion without violating the Jewish law. The term "stauroo", which is used in the letters of Paul, and translated now to mean crucify, it means "hang" in the time of Paul and Jesus. Stauroo is used in the LXX to mean Hang (Esther 7: 9). Suspending the convict by the hands after death is a Jewish practice. In other words, the term "stauroo" in the letters of Paul doesn't support the crucifixion story of Mark. The execution penalty was supposed to take place outside the city gates (Hebrews 13: 12). Outside the city gates means in a remote place. None of Jesus' disciples was present there to see his execution, and also none of them have seen his dead body after his supposed death, at least there is no record in the letters of Paul to suggest otherwise. No dead body = no dead person. Any sighting of Jesus after his supposed death was nothing but illusion. Jesus was neither killed by the Jews, nor crucified by the Romans (Quran 4.157). Even if you don't agree with the Quran statement, you still cannot be certain of Jesus' fate in any event. QUOTE: "since these myths are the first references we have to the death of Jesus as a crucifixion, and since Mark's story is dependent upon the martyr myth in the kerygma, we really have no way of knowing anything about the historical circumstances of Jesus' death. There is no reference to Jesus' death as a crucifixion in the pre-Markan Jesus material." -- (Burton L. Mack, Who Wrote the New Testament, The Making of the Christian Myth, p.87)

Textual criticism:- Can we use the Gospel to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the resurrection happened? No. Historians found discrepancies when comparing the resurrection accounts horizontally in the 4 gospels. The resurrection accounts in Mark are documented in chapter 16. How come Mark does not record a meeting took place between the resurrected Jesus and his disciples!!!? Mark 16.9-20 were not found in the two oldest complete NT manuscripts Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus. Since these two are complete NT, the verses couldn’t have been dropped by mistake. Surprisingly, Luke, John and Matthew agree that the resurrected Jesus appeared to his disciples. In conclusion, academic scholarship generally holds that Mark is in fact the oldest of the Synoptic Gospels, which causes significant doubt over the resurrection.

Both Christians and Muslims believe in the Resurrection on Judgement Day, giving charity, worshipping the Creator, caring for widows and orphans, reality of Heaven & Hell, acting with refined manners & etiquette, etc. The Muslims believe in the resurrection because the Quran tells us to in many different verses. While the Christians only believe in the resurrection because their nabi and rasool 'Isa ibn Mariam (as) gave them physical proof of such a resurrection "on the third day" after crucifixion. Q5:48 We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ this Book with the truth, as a confirmation of previous Scriptures and a supreme authority on them. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires over the truth that has come to you. To each of you We have ordained a code of law and a way of life. If Allah had willed, He would have made you one community, but His Will is to test you with what He has given ˹each of˺ you. So compete with one another in doing good. Quran 39:42 is a very good explanation for the similitude of death with the creator of all things( Allah) the only one true God John 17:3, Jesus Christ pbuh was never killed by the Jews it was only made to appear as if he died. The messenger of Allah( Jesus Christ pbuh) was made to prophesied the type of death that Allah will make him undergo in : Mathew 16:1-5, Luke 11:29-32, John 12:31-33 and supported by the last testament the glorious Quran 4:157-158 the Truth of conjecture stated in the Quran are : the contradiction about the death of Jesus Christ pbuh in John 19:17 ( Jesus Christ pbuh carried the cross to Golgotha contradicted by Mathew 27:32, Simon the Cyrene carried the cross to Golgotha, contradiction about the death of Judas Iscariot in Mathew 27:1-10 and ACT 1:16-26, the assumption of the time of death of Jesus Christ pbuh in Mark 15:34 and John 19:14-15.

What do you call it when someone makes you believe something as true when it is not true?

You are telling the truth. Issa, the Muslim Jesus (the Jesus of the 7th century, the Arab Jesus) was neither killed nor crucified. This is very clear in the Quran chapter 4. However, the 1st century Jesus (the Jewish Jesus) according to the oldest manuscripts available today, he was crucified and died on the cross: "Jesus cried out with a loud cry (on the cross), and expired" (Matthew 27 verse 50, Mark 15 verse 37)
