It's incredibly refreshing to see a two hander rolling a straight ball. So many waste their time NOT trying to learn to throw it straight and throw away good scores because they never learned to hook at a spare either....lol

I’ve been throwing two handed for a while now I honestly don’t recommend switching if you’ve been throwing 1 handed it’s way harder to be accurate two handed the revs and power is what saves us we get a lot of carry

You may have to go back to being a one hander keep up the grind never settle and keep making these great videos even the best have off nights we just don’t see them as always be blessed today and every day looking for great things for the DMC brand and all of you as great bowlers as well

Mikey, you are so talented with 1 hand. I'm not sure why you are trying to switch to 2 hands. I understand there can be more power, but you can't adjust as much when the lanes get weird, unless 2 hands is all you have ever known. Keep grinding.

You were such a great one hand bowler, not sure why you want to change. But perhaps instead of two hands, you should just try no thumb.

Tom Daughtery style? He's a no thumb / 1 hand hybrid who has done pretty well for himself. My brother used to throw like that, but would put his thumb in for his 10 pin spares. I guess nowadays, that would mean 2 holes for his strike ball and 3 holes for the spare ball.

The 2 handers In my league leave ALOT of splits. They also miss more corner pin spares than they should. I think it has something to do with all the revs on a typical house shot.

Play straighter. I don't understand why people try to create more hook when the hook is uncontrollable. Norm Duke it.

With his speed and rev rate on a short pattern, he'd have to go plastic to go straighter. Which he should probably try. It's been working for Packy throwing The Spy.

They should title one of these short pattwrn tournaments "Chasing Oil" ... or "Finding Friction" for a longer pattern tournament.

As a 2 hander myself, I’d say Mikey has a better release than Chris via, still needs some work but it’s much cleaner than via’s release, Mikey is just realizing that consistency as a 2 hander isn’t as easy as everyone says

By any means, Mikey does not have a better release than Chris Via. It certainly has improved from the start tho. Chris via is also one of the smoothest and cleanest 2h on tour, he makes things look so effortless.

@@bam5561 Chris’s release is anything but smooth & clean though? Muscles the ball through the entire release, therefore already limiting his own versatility, and his ball often double bounces because of how unclean his release is

@@zVask He has all the versatility 🤣. He can play extreme angles and straight. You dont become a Major champion and one of the big names on the PBA tour and have two televised 300s if you have no versatility. His ball double bounces occasionally cause of the height that he drops it when he moves left closer to the gutter. That is fine. Belmo's double bounces occasionally too when he gets that far left. Muscling, far from it. You want muscle, look at Jesper.

@@zVask He is also a very muscular dude. It looks like he muscles, but when you actually look at 2h mechanics in depth and understand the 2h game, he doesnt. Even Simo looks like he muscles more than Via because Simo yeets the ball with his whole body. But its still not muscled.
