My Dad did it when I was a teenager, Mountain Girl. I didn't really understand it either at the time. But after a not so short period of time I realized how much physical pain he was dealing with. I look back now, many many years later, and I understand why he did what he did. But you're right, I'm too chickenshit to go out that way✌

I know what you mean OP. The rest of us need to understand that comitting suicide goes against every instinct in our body, meaning that if a person really have to be way beyond the point of what they can endure before they decide to go through with it. We are talking about struggling every day with a pain the rest of us can’t even begin to understand. We just have to accept the fact that all of them fought as hard and as long as they ever could before finally giving up and suicide was their only way out. We who remain in life should never mistake our feelings of shame for not knowing they were in so much pain or the realization that we weren’t there for them when they needed us the most, with the all too common feeling of anger and disappointment with them for comitting suicide. They were not cowards, they were desperate! Desperate people do desperate things, and the purest form of desperate things is comitting suicide... I’m convinced that most of us would have done EVERYTHING in our power for them and to help them IF we just knew just how bad it really was before it happened. We who are still on this Earth just have to remember to talk to all the people we have in our lives about how we and they are feeling more often then we do now. And if you suspect that someone you know is holding back on his or her feelings, don’t call them, for the love of God, go see them in person. Wear a bloody HazMat-suit if you have to! People can get away with lying about their true feelings when they are on the phone, but they sure as Hell can’t fool you if they try to lie about stuff like this while you are looking them straight in their eyes. They can try, but you’ll see right through them. I might be totally wrong here, but in my own experience, showing up and talking face to face with whoever you felt were not telling you the whole truth actually made a huge difference BOTH times this has happened to me throughout the years. I saw right through one of my oldest friends and also one of my collegues from work when both of them tried to convince me that they were feeling just fine when they sure as Hell did not. The look they had in their eyes told me a very different story than the one coming from their mouths. So even if I’m in the wrong here by making this out to be way less complicated than it really is, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, I ask you all to at least TRY to do like I did. I can promise you all that what you stand to lose if you don’t act on your gut feeling is by far way, way worse than the risk you take by doing what I did and then realizing you misread the whole situation. This is one of these situations where you’d rather have one too many than one too few. 😔 EDIT: Spelling, spelling, spelling. I guess most of you that somehow managed to read through this wall of text realized straight from the beginning that english is not my first language. To be honest, english is not my second, nor is it my third language for that matter. Hopefully my message about us reaching out to all the people in our lives somehow managed to get through all the fog created by my horrible grammar, all my spelling mistakes and my downright misuse of words here and there. If not I humbly apologize. 🙏🏻

@@jeffreypeterson3238 God would not send a good person to hell all because of there beliefs. I myself believe in Jesus as my lord and savior. But what about people who were born raised in other religions or were taught by there parents that there is no God, but the were good people who never hurt a soul. Will they be in hell? What have they done to go to hell? All because they believe differently? Nope God is a loving God and would not send someone in enteral suffering for a few years worth of mistakes. And compared to eternity our life span is only a few years. I do not believe in hell, hell would be evil with in its self. God is too loving to send the average soul to hell. If there is a hell only the extreme evil, the devil and his fallen angels will be there but not the average soul.

Too young for those that were afflicted with disease or a car, airplane, motorcycle accident that took their lives. Too early for those who for some reason or another, took the wrong path in life and decided that life was not worth living anymore. At least that's how I understood the title.

Incredible someone posted a comment stating that most of the people featured on the episode are all average Joe's..that don't even matter.what matters is these people are human beings with love and a full life ahead of them.and due to some unfortunate events there lives were cut short and there memory is all the family and the world has left of these people.. we're all going to be passing on at some point.so I suggest that we rely on a higher power whatever that may be to you..and cut out all the hate and disrespect we all have for one another.and learn how to love a unconditional love for our GOD as well as our fellow man..and help one another instead of hindering one another.

Daniel Valadez They must be someone with no empathy . Commonly known as a sociopaths. There's quite a few out there. By the way I totally agree with your view of life. Its just a pity people like Netanjahu don't have any respect for life. The world would be a better place to live in .

Daniel no one could say these words about our fellow human beings any better than what you said. You make sense, and your way of looking at these poor souls, yes this world today has put alot of unnecessary pain and hate before compassion, and hope. This saddens me to know end 😔. I know where my heart is, and it's knowing that without God and Jesus Christ to look to, to find comfort and love beyond the surface of this world which we will all pass from eventually. Thanks for sharing your insight, and your words of kindness. Have a wonderful and happy day EVERYDAY!!

This is the best tribute video I've seen on youtube . Showing their picture date of death and cause and paying tribute to some older and great ones. I was 18 when Jim Croce died. It broke my heart . I've always been a big fan of his. I haven't watched all your tribute videos yet but I was wondering do you have Dan Blocker in any of them ? I've never seen him on any of these. He was my favorite on Bonanza .

@@psalm5175 Jesus couldn't save himself-- How is he going to save anyone else? What was the Savior was the SUN of God .. Rises in the heavens every morning. Without the SUN of God th eworld would be a desolate sub-zero world. No SUN no Polysynthesis No nothing --- Some Bible Scribblers deliberately altered SUN to SON for Political reasons. Neither was there any sacrifice . That was a concoction, Not once did he himself ever mention an original sin or a redemption. Even when pressed for the path to “PERFECTION” he only told his followers to sell their belongings. Neither can I see how God would allow Jesus to a cross or a tree totally naked. There was no loin cloth. Those crucified were totally humiliated. Striped of their rights , stripped of everything Jesus (obuh) did not die on the cross One of the main reasons for this was the fact that it is written "He who dies on the cross is considered cursed by God" Galatians 3:13 And more evidence: Matthew 9:13 where Jesus said: “But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Jesus himself denies any Sacrifice ... The CHURCH are telling people lies ...

All: You are NOT dying until you are taking your last breath...not before. @Lastman Standing QUOTE All: You are NOT dying until you are taking your last breath...not before. THAT STATEMENT IS FALSE... When someone takes their LAST breath then one is DEAD (Adjective) The Cells of the body die and replicate them-self .. a copy of a copy of a copy etc. Each copy is degraded snf not exactly as the cell it replaces ( Also the acid(s) in the body mix wit the oxygen component of air and causes RUST, The Brain rusts. These RUST particulate are known as 'Free Radicals" .. They are like any Radical terrorists in our body slowly destroying (aging) it The Telomeres become shorter and shorter over time -- Thus we are dying slowly. The air that we breathe is both keeping us alive and killing us at the same time because it OXIDIZES the cells including the Brain. But certainly you know what LAST means, Most people do not know what LAST means (they use the word LAST instead of the word PAST (which refers to previous. (LAST means there is NO MORE TO COME) Sleep is practice to die and it is showing us not to fear death, When one sleeps, tomorrow and anything in the future ceases to matter. One should not be afraid of death any more than fear of sleeping. Only during sleep The Creator will turn the body from side to side so the blood does not pool for too long, and He flips a switch to wake us . A shot of EL-ectricity passes along network of nerves that creates the ANImation (without ANImation we are only A BODY ... STILL - no MOTOR function - the ANI (which is Latin for SOUL is gone) The EL in EL-ectricity is ancient hebrew for God (ELLah ) originating from the much older language of arabic / aramaic AL ALLah / ALLoh (God) The National airline of Isra'el EL AL meaning 'God The Creator' in both ancient Hebrew and arabic languages. the converse and transposition of LIVE is EVIL

@@andrew_koala2974 Well after reading your obnoxious statement, all I have to say is you live your life the way you want to and I will LIVE mine the way I want to. By the way, when we go to sleep, we are letting our body rest so it can, in a way, recharge itself to enjoy another day. If you want to call it "practicing to die, then that's YOUR morbid opinion. FYI, I believe in God but I do not believe He is turning us from side to side as we rest -- have you ever witnessed a paralyzed or someone in a coma "turning so their blood doesn't pool to long?" Doesn't happen.

Some times, I wonder if I should have died. Earth is very ugly. Humanity is so cruel to each other. Life in the US is the worst I have ever seen it in the last forty years. Please everyone treat everyone with love and respect...you don't want to see your self in you life review being cruel to other people.
