That's the Gibson Explorer that Lzzy Hale gifted her with when they were opening for Halestorm. This is from Pau's emo-phase when they wrote an entire concept album (Queen of the Murder Scene) that chronicles a woman's journey from crush, to stalker, to murderer. The feel reminds me a bit of Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime (the Queensryche album that came out after their album called... oddly enough... "The Warning").

The Explorer was a gift from Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. There's video of Dany receiving it onstage from Lzzy and Dany also discusses it in her Gear Masters episode. The Explorer's nasty tone is perfect for this song 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

This song is a masterpiece. Btw, the scream in the background after the solo is Dany. When they recorded it they turned off all the lights and people freaked out everywhere. Pau said it was very disturbing for her and Ale since they were at the other side of the recording room. Then Dany started laughing like maniac and her sisters can’t handle it 😂.

I was quite pleasantly surprised at how many track from QOTMS they did at this concert. My fantasy is that they do like a "10th anniversary version" of the album, with their modern skills and voices... that would be truly epic!!

I absolutely love this song.

This is the title track from their second album, which is a concept album telling a continuous story, consisting of an epilog(Dust To Dust) and 4 chapters of 3 songs each. This entire album can be watched from the Lunario show.

Pau uses double bass more often than people realize. During the doubletime segment of Dust to Dust, at the end of the breakdown in Evolve, at the end of Dull Knives, etc

I love this band so much! My taste outside of this is mostly black and death metal. But this is just fun. And the community is so loving and caring for each other. And what I love the most about the warning, they're OBVIOUSLY three insanely gorgeous young ladies, but they don't have to play on their sexuality to succeed. So while we have so many artists who use their looks as part of their whole package. The Warning doesn't need to. Music is the language. It's OK to be sexy, but pure talent is far more exciting. When you're that talented, it doesn't matter how you look. So we, the viewers and listeners get to have our cake and eat it too. Not only are they fucking beasts on stage, but they're easy on the eyes too, which is just the cherry on top, and not 70% of the show.

"Korusu, korusu, korusu" = "Kill, kill, kill" in Japanese. The scream in the background near the end of the song is a Dany backing track.

FYI, Pau used the double bass in Dust to Dust. I think their second album is where she uses the double bass more. Dust to Dust, Queen of the Murder Scene, and a favorite Dull Knives.

"QOTMS" is 6 years old, it was released in 2018 when Dany was 17, Pau was 15, and Ale was 12, this concept album is a masterpiece, on a level that many bands have never, or will ever achieve. Many of us (TWA) have been watching and listening to them for years, waiting for the inevitable moment when they break out and become widely recognized for the stars they are. These three talented young women have been destined for fame since childhood. They have put in so much hard work, practice, dedication, sacrifice, and determination, to get where they are today. And they are just getting started.

This is an epic song from an epic album of the same name. *Queen of the Murder Scene* is a musical masterpiece. It is a "rock novel concept album," written and composed by The Warning as teens and a pre-teen! It ASTOUNDS people with its lyrical complexity, musical range, and dark subject matter delivered oh, so tastefully. Watch the entire Lunario 2018 concert, where they played the entire 13-song album, interspersed with songs from their first album used as chapter separators. That show celebrated the debut of the album, and has a projected light show of art and effects. It is raw, real, dark, and a little rough, but it tells the story very well. It starts with a funeral (Dust to Dust), and ends with the death that precedes it. We hear Dany sing a folk ballad, rock, hard rock, metal, demented cheerleader punk, and some K-Pop and J-Rock influences. Pau bookends the album content on lead vocals while drumming at 7350 feet in altitude. They are 13, 16, and 18 at that performance! We get to hear Ale and Dany play some piano, in addition to their bass and guitar work. It really is a treat.

Dany was playing that Explorer during Enter Sandman, you missed that when you watched that video. As others have said, Lzzy Hale gave that to her in the middle of a set a couple years ago. Her tech came out to do a guitar swap but he didn't bring her one, just took the one she had. So she's standing there confused, trying to figure out why he left her hanging, and out comes Lzzy with the Gibson she had made special for her and she bows down and holds it aloft for her to accept. It's a really cool moment. There's a bunch of short videos out there from a lot of different angles.

In case no one else pointed out, they kept repeating "Korosu" during the chorus, which is Japanese for "kill."

The way Dany and Ale stalk around the stage while Pau growls "Korosu, Korosu..." (Kill, kill ... ) is honestly kind of terrifying. It's important to put this song into its context; it's not just a rock banger (though it absolutely is that). It's the ending of Chapter 3 in the band's astonishing concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene" (QotMS, released in 2018 when DPA were 18, 16, 13 - and therefore written/recorded when they were a couple years younger) that tells the story of unrequired love that leads to obsession, madness, murder, and death. This song is where the eponymous Queen embraces her madness and dives head-first into a bloody murder spree. I've seen several reaction channels devote an entire series to QotMS. This is usually done via the album's debut concert at Lunario CDMX (you can find the video on The Warning's KZfaq channel).

Queen of the murder scene is the warnings best album . Being a concept album even makes it better. A woman gos from obsession, abduction, murder and ultimately suicide while she battles between two personalities of good and evil internally. The whole album is brilliant ! Out of my 56 years ,its probably my favorite album. The fact that the girls were young teens when they created it makes it even better.

I tend to favor metal. this is the song that really got me into their music. Pau doesn't use the double bass too much. She's said before that she's not the greatest at it. If you listen to Evolve again she uses it more. I listen for it whenever the songs lean more towards metal. Definitely hope she keeps practicing it and making it part of her tool-kit.
