I think the craziest part about Aeroplanist being played in tourney is the fact that Aeroplanist has always been a really good survivor and the entire NA/EU community collectively gaslit themselves into thinking he's not because playing him is a bit harder than Patient. Aeroplanist was a character who I knew screamed amazing and tourney viable because of the distance you can gain + Hover mode allowing you to prevent yourself from getting hit away from chair or just for kiting. It honestly makes me sad to see people have given up trying to innovate with this character and ask the devs to posssibly change/buff him in the QnA because he has so much untapped potential with his kit.

I have a feeling that one of the reasons that aeroplanist is underplayed and not very popular in the fandom is bcs of pretty priviledge or smth. I've heard so many people call him ugly. Its a shame really because he has a lot of potential:(

Look at our boi Charles farting his way through tourney, what a lad 🤧🤧 28:20 idk if thats the same reason for pro players but it often feels like the game result is already decided when cipher pops, so bringing trump card for endgame teleport is almost always useless. swapping to abnormal is often situational due to acc decoding. so bringing in just one trait usually works fine, unless there's anyone that can counter/causw trouble late game (like Embalmer for example).

Tbh he is a very weak character, like if I want to play someone who can dash composer or cheerleader even acrobat are a better option and much better decoder. idkw but when you play him, he kinda feels heavy and slower than other characters

@@SantiMypookie he's a really skill-issue character, his dash is a 3 free flywheel and his fly up mechanic can ruin a lot of hunter's ability. Sadly u must have to know the character very well to use his skill efficiently. He's a good rescuer for far camping situation just like Patient

i think aeroplanist's gimmick is the reason not many people play him. unlike other characters whose playstyle takes technique and practice, his is unreliable (bc its random, and thats a terrible idea). i think if he got a rework so he works more like cheerleader that also needs timing and skill but you KNOW for sure what'll come rhe moment you use her skills

I think it tells you the next flight pattern before using it, so as long as you turn your camera a certain direction, I think he'll move in that direction. Just takes some getting used to for sure

@@ZeezVovGeeV Fun fact about Aeroplanist: You don't control his dash with the camera. He's one of the few, if not first, survivors who you need to actually turn your body in order to control his dash

It's exactly random. It's randomly generated, yes, but it tells you the direction beforehand and you can adjust the body to go in the direction you want to go to. So, if you wish to only go forward, you can. You should watch tutorials on it and learn before speaking. The reason is exactly that he takes a lot of skill to master it, and most are just lazy to do so.

@@Ratspector seems like a skill issue to me, he is very similar in patient, and can even be better in patient on certain map, almost took me a week to fully master him and Im enjoying him now.
