What the title implies: J.K. Rowling remade the Play (probably according to my previous video) What the video's prologue actually implies: I wrote a fanfiction of Harry Potter 8 and someone made it into a Play, here's how they fixed it. What the video actually contains: 15 minutes of History of Email exchanges and how we got to that point. it's not even clickbait. It's a new form of trickery, an entirely new formula. I'll call this...The Cursed Clickbait.
@kevintornel3 жыл бұрын
It’s not clickbait at all, just not a very specific title. I can title a video “they used drugs” and the video can be about people taking medicine
@Marssnowable3 жыл бұрын
@@kevintornel if you intentionally write a thumbnail they used drugs and it's just medicine then that's clearly clickbait. Clickbait doesn't mean the content of the video is bad, it just abuses peoples expectations of the content into getting them to click. The video is clickbait, but i still enjoyed it

@@Marssnowable Internet methuselah here. Go to KnowYourMeme and search "I Accidentally". "I accidentally the whole thing" was a thing for quite a bit. Not massively popular or widely used, but used. Sure, it was dated by the time he created this thumbnail. Still, give the thumbnail a read again. "I accidentally a Harry Potter stageplay?" It's not a missing word, nor is it an allusion to he himself writing a play. It's a goofy meme. Just take "I accidentally", add a determiner, then a noun. If you are feeling really fancy, maybe an adjective. Bam. I accidentally an old meme. It's not clickbait. It's a dumb joke most people won't get to the point that the pinned comment is... well... A 👏 MEME 👏 POINTING 👏 OUT 👏 A 👏 MEME 👏 I'll relent on the title though. "They" could easily be changed to "Someone" or "This group" for clarity. Minor sin for what turned out to be a delightful, unexpected bonus 3rd part to a 2 part video I didn't know existed to now. I'm pretty sure if someone official enough redid The Cursed Child, and in a fashion related to this channel, randomly happening upon it years later through this video wouldn't be the method of discovery. In my case, I clicked knowing JK Rowling and/or the playwrights were not going to be on the end of said click. All of this really has me wondering how I got here and why I wrote this mini essay, haha. Hadn't heard of Austin or The Cursed Child (what rock was I living under for that one?) until 2 hours back.

I’m frustrated because I had to switch projects to present to an agent to get them hooked to get published, but have been trying to just focus and get through pre-writing so the fun can begin, and seeing someone actually MAKE IT to see their work realized is very inspiring. Hey Austin. I would like to create a short film based on this video and how the production came about. I'd appreciate it if you wrote the entire script, and I'll put your name in fine print somewhere on promotional material (although due to a glitchy computer, it will probably have to be undetectably small). Unfortunately I can't promise you any money, but I can promise you a sweet mug passed down by my grandma. It has lovely colourful flowers on it. You'll like it. Please consider. Please Austin. Please.

If any character was to cheat I’d have to make it Harry cheating on Ginny with Cho Chang. But that’s going purely by the movie character chemistry. Ginny and Harry had no on screen chemistry.
@stefan41595 жыл бұрын
Plus, Harry is even less likely to cheat on Ginny, who is his literal soulmate, than Hermione is to cheat on Ron. If Hermione were to have an affair with someone, it certainly would NOT be with Harry. It would probably be with Viktor Krum.

Yeah I bet it won’t happen either, but I wish it could. I’d love to see a good version! Or maybe it’ll spread and other companies will start to put it on. There are enough HP fans that it’d sell, you know? People who aren’t going to see the official one, who can’t pay for a plane ticket. I was in a singing group that made a cd, but we didn’t own the rights to the songs in the album, so we had to sort of... if someone made a ten dollar donation, we’d “give them” a copy as a “freebie.” It was a kind of loophole that I’m not sure was quite enough to make it squarely legal, lol, but we got enough money to make it to the nationals, and that was the goal and I think they’re still doing it, so... maybe? 🤷🏻♀️ I would love love love to see a version of this, somehow, but like so many other fans, the likelihood of getting to California, in like the next week, to see this show, it’s just impossible. So I hope it lives on in a recording or other companies doing it, so there’s hope we can one day see it. Cheers.

Don’t feel bad... I fully stage $40K a play inspired by the writing of David Ives (who lives in NYC) and invited him to any of our performances over weeks... guy completely blew me off. Normally that is what one should expect to see from Theatre “Professionals” (unless you give them $$$) but the guy gave an after performance talk where he lamented how “no one seems to take on challenge of write verse for the stage these days” Little Wonder. But no bother, every playwright should write to please themself (before they give up and write for television or movies!)
