"Stuck on stupid." Joyner couldn't have put it any better. Sirianni's rumored "pep talk" for this game reminds me of Doc Rivers repeatedly saying "Come on guys! Fight for this!" while the Sixers get blown out in the playoffs. I also love Seth's point about the other team always being happy to take the 7-8 yards underneath. We're the only team dumb enough to force deep passes constantly on offense when receivers are wide open underneath. They still haven't realized it.

Seth hit it dead on, San Fransisco wrecked the Eagles already low psyche with a ringing physical beating confirming they were not the same team as last year. Smart fans felt this season was sitting within a razors edge of going off the cliff, the fire and confidence missing. they need a rebuild on defense, an entire new coaching staff, and a organizational shift in philosophy that allows the coaches to do their jobs their way. @@joshlight6892 When they were 10-1 the conversation was they were playing poorly but finding ways to win because the wins came off luck, flukes, in games they barely escaped. There were no efficient, confident, dominating wins at all. The players knew it better than any winning like that is not sustainable nor indicative of whats needed to make a real Super Bowl run. They also knew they had no answer for it. That is why they were feeling low even at 10-1.

They blitzed us and goddert was with man coverage and had his guy beat by three yards, safety wasn't close and Jalen just had to throw the ball out there for him and instead he just stands there until the guy is on top of him and takes a sack. It's on Lurie and Howie because they want a puppet yes man instead of real HC who wants a certain degree of control over the team. This is what you'll get with a yes man for a HC. It's obvious the team has quit on Nick. So you either overhaul the majority of the roster, which includes getting rid of the OG vets (a few might retire anyway) or you have to fire Nick and start over. I have no confidence Lurie and his apprentice will make the right decision and hire a real HC as they want to run the WHOLE organization their way and don't want a HC who wants full control over the team, their identity, and their philosophy of play.

The formula to this collapse is simple. The offense has given up because the defense is garbage. The defense of this team is useless. Imagine being Jalen and marching your team down the field to score. You then stand on the sidelines and watch your defense piss all your hard work away in minutes. You manage to win a lot of games by outscoring opponents, but always by the skin of your teeth with a defense that is so bad they may as well be working for the other team. How long would it take you to be demoralized? All season the offense has been the reason for their early success.

@@jamesharper3933it’s almost like the rookie QB deal is the best then immediately worse thing to happen to this team. 2 SuperBowl seasons then a dramatic decline once the QB is paid and coordinators leave. The Doug/Wentz teams you could atleast say always had an unusual amount of people on IR his last 3 seasons. That being said The whole organizational philosophy is a concern.

Sirianni has to go. I never imagined I'd say that about a coach who made the postseason all three years including a Super Bowl his second year, but he clearly doesn't know what he's doing. I've never seen a team just quit like this. Even the '94 collapse under Kotite wasn't this bad. That team was inept and Cunningham was in one of his frequent bad slumps. But at least they put up a fight in most of those games and some of them were against tough teams. This bunch has just quit. Unacceptable. The whole staff has to go.

I think many saw the signs when we put ourselves in a hole and dug ourselves out to get to ten wins. We knew they couldn’t keep winning that way. The players had to overcome the poor play calling and coaching to win. After a while they just gave up and it was their quiet rebellion that became so loud it couldn’t be ignored

This team knew from the beginning of the season they weren't going anywhere. Listening to Jason Kelce on New Heights this entire season, he wasn't ever happy with their wins. They never bought into this coaching staff from game 1. The writing was always on the wall.

Apparently you didn't listen to the whole video. Lurie and Roseman want a "yes" man who will take orders and not push back. That's why they fired Pederson because they told him they were going to tank the next year and Doug said no. And it's why they hired Sirianni, another first-time HC, because he'd be that "yes" man for them. There ain't a snowball's chance in hell they would hire an independent-minded guy like Seth for the job. Nor a Belichik No, they will hire another unknown to faithfully do their bidding.

I said this when I went to the Christmas game they look like they’re just ready for this season to be over with for whatever reason. But I know watching this losing streak is a complete embarrassment especially when teams are blitzing the hell out of Hurts and we don’t blitz at all as if the other teams personnel is that much better than ours smh

The rest is debatable depending on your slant/team loyalties but that statement is darn near fact. As soon as he said it, I felt a "yep, thats it" come over me.
