If teams are so afraid to take QBs at the top of the draft because they could be a bust, then teams wouldn’t be trading up for the #1 pick at all. Can’t be afraid to swing for a QB, especially if you believe he can be a top 10 QB. And I don’t think attributing Stroud’s success is just random dumb luck or up to the cosmos to decide.

The only problem is eventually they'll have to pay Fields. Harrison Jr is an awesome receiver but they do have DJ Moore who is also great. If they don't put any protection around him he's still gonna struggle. He doesn't read defenses like Joe Burrow so he doesn't get rid of the ball quickly. This would be Fields last chance if they pass on a QB and he's unsuccessful again.

QB is definitely the main issue. While I agree that you need minor improvements to the D-Line and the O-Line, you already have three weapons in Moore, Mooney, and Kmet. And Getsy has showed that he is a fantastic OC at times and the plays he was drawing up at the beginning of the year are plays that could create a top 10 offense, not his fault that he doesn't trust his Quarterback to throw the ball since he couldn't get it done at the beginning of the year. While minor improvements can be made, OC, O-Line, D-Line, and weapons are not major issues, you need a damn Quarterback to be able to use those weapons. You're wasting Moore, Mooney, Kmet, and probably about to waste MHJ on a team that should have gone to the Playoffs this year, but bad QB play prevented that from actually happen. Go get MHJ in the first round, and then Van Pran in the second or third, and then with your other pick take Daniels, Maye, Nix, or Penix. And maybe look at the D-Linemen that will enter the draft next year or go out a sign one of the players that will go into free agency this year. Your team should have been able to win this year, but Fields has held y'all back immensely. There are four other options aside from Williams at Quarterback. And I love how none of you are acknowledging how the Justin Fields trade rumors are heating up more and more, you all know what they're about to do. They're going to trade Fields for another draft pick, and hey, maybe scam another team to get a D-Linemen like y'all did with Carolina and Moore last year, and then they'll draft another weapon and a Quarterback.

You are right, the defense was a little rusty for the first few weeks, but that has since changed, and they are currently single handily carrying your entire team right now. But what else is new with the Bears? Y'all have always been known for having fantastic defenses that elevate your team to levels that should be at without. I agree, the team is getting better, but this is a team that should have made the Playoffs this year, but they failed because of poor Quarterback play. If you draft a Quarterback and make the minor upgrades you are talking about on D-Line and O-Line and use your number one pick to take MHJ, you could potentially fight for the division next year. And who knows what you could get when you trade Fields. And on a side note, I love how you ignore the trade rumors and how you all pretend that this is not your coaching staffs first year. You blame the coaching staff, but this is most of their first years there. Justin has an Elite WR, top 10 TE, decent oline that he actively makes worse(ill give u yesterday cuz they were bad yesterday) a good run game. Great qbs perform when they arent in a good situation. Justin gave us the expectations, he said he guaranteed 4k passing yards. He barely got 2.5k. Thats not elite qb play
