Already love this unit because there are ZERO restrictions so you can slap him on any team

I disagree with Truth on one thing, I don't think his standby condition is that bad. He seems more like a "beast" type of unit where he is just good from the start. Units like broly, gogeta, and teq UI can be serviceable but you really want them transformed ASAP, and they also need multiple turns no matter what. Jiren will show up, be invincible his first turn, then come back and be able to standby and still go slot one. Even in slot 3 the worst is standby on slot 5. No different from getting beast active in the exact same scenario. I do get that means less time in full power jiren but if we're being honest with how powerful our units are right now, any unit in slot 3 isn't getting much chance to shine before the fight is over lol. I think slot 7 jiren is way way better than something like slot 3 gogeta or teq ui, but we'll have to see some gameplay I could be wrong! Regardless still super excited for him he's absolutely CRACKED

the jiren standby can be more easy to active in comparasion with some of this type of characters like gogeta, broly, UI, i don't think is the same think at all, second turn and he's a invencible slot one character in standby, and he return in his 3th turn with 71 damage reduction with scouter and possible 30M plus super attack with guaranted crit, for me he's number 3 at minimal, better than all universe 7 characters, but beast and cell max i m not sure. what u guys think?

Toppo, Jiren and Dyspo on one rotation, Cell max, Broly and Rosé (or Golden Frieza) on the other, you essentially just have a invincible team that does monster damage.

He might pair well with Cell Max, as by the time CM’s intro wears off and he’s potentially vulnerable, Jiren should hopefully be in is standby to tank until either the Taunt skill is ready or Jiren’s ready to jump into God Mode.

I don’t know if you realise how generous dokkan is giving damage reduction, I have a bad feeling that damage reduction nullification is coming

This might be a controversial opinion but I feel like if we go for kit to kit jiren overall is more helpful than cell max but if we account for cellmax's active skill then I think cell max is better, because he protects the team as well as hits like a nuclear bomb, in my opinion, jiren is better but when the active skill with cell Max is there then cellmax takes the cake Also if I was going to recommend a build. It would be additional with six Dodge, zero crit, with Max additional with defensive equipment since he has a lot of damage reduction defense is going to be important and because he has no built-in additionals, you want to at least maximize the chance you have to additional super, And because he has crits everywhere in his passive you don't need it in the hidden potential system

turn 3 from first appearing is the same as turn 4 from start of battle is it not. we've spent 2 years gassing up turn 4 from start of battle so jirens is fine. its actually better because if he is in turn 1 you get to activate it in turn 3. its only worse than turn 3 from start of battle if hes in slot 7 otherwise its a pretty good transformation condition tbh

His ideal setup is gonna be USS with the U7 units unless teq lr Jiren eza’s and is cracked, his standby will be nice for the team since it’s ki support and straight defense which the team surprisingly lacks, however full power Jiren is gonna get like 0 value with eza 6th year LR’s, teq UI, and evoken just tearing through everything

Just saw an early showcase, dudes enemy super attack damage increase in his full power form is INSANE Went from a 35m super 100% crit to a 56m 100% crit off ONE SUPER And you don’t have to wait to transform into full power If you get Jiren first turn, you can have full power Jiren by turn 5😂 Pros:400k starting defense (1m post super) 60% damage reduction 100% stuns against bosses that allow it. Hilarious damage😂, and a very good standby. Cons: no built in additionals, not a slot one unit outside of standby
