There are quite a lot of covers of this out right now and it's really surprising to me just how many different ways this song can be done well. And I agree with you that VoicePlay never disappoints. They're damn good at what they do! I love the emotion in this one. The build was great too, but it's the way they pulled it back at the end that I liked the most, I think. Cesar had such a beautiful, breathy tone. Loved it!

It is an emotional roller coaster, just absolutely wonderful!! Anthony (far-JOO-lah) has done two other covers with them. Golden Hour and Seven Nation Army, as well as several shorts. The amazing this about this one is that neither Geoff nor Layne arranged it. This was Eli's. He arranged one three years ago right after Earl left, their cover of Eleanor Rigby. I hope we don't have to wait three more years for another reaction from him.

I'M IN THE CREDITS! Ahem. Sorry, I only just managed to get into a situation where I could join that level of patronage for them and this is the first one my name is in. And OMG they did not disappoint. Then again, they never do. Eli's arrangement is so dynamic. taking you through a whole emotional journey. And Cesar has been taking things to a whole new level it in the last couple of videos. I knew this song, of course, but honestly I've never liked it. Now... I FELT this in a way I can't describe and just ADORED it.

You absolutely must listen to the Postmodern Jukebox cover of this song featuring Haley Reinhart. It is a vintage rendition and in my opinion the best cover of this song ever. Haley is extremely talented and has a beautiful voice plus it is done in a jazz style (I don't care for jazz music at all.. but that was before hearing 'Creep' done in that style). You will definitely be impressed.. so please check it out. TIA.

I have heard so many covers of this song that I am Tired of hearing it but this cover I can listen to over and over. I am a die hard pentaholic But for me for me Their cover is Better... Even though Pentatonix took it in a different direction and this is direction voice play went I'm much preferred this 1. Pentatonix #2 on the list. I'm convinced that many Americans just can;t read. The emotions appear to have gone completely over your head. You seem to have found it amusing. Very strange.

Super talented however the buildup of dynamics and spontaneity just wasn't there. Not sure the importance of the distorted guitar can be portrayed with just vocals. That break where your just taking off and flying just isn't there.
