Sneaking up a long dark drive surrounded by a forest full of Wolves and Bears I crept through the shadows to evade capture! Only to find the very people I was hiding from had gone home and locked me in unaware of my presence! How will I get out of this huge abandoned Slovenia castle and what amazing features are left behind!

54:51 min There were toilets like this in the castles in our country too, it falls down outside! The excrement was previously used to fertilize the castles' herb gardens 🌿🌻🌾🌱

Matt, those toilets were brill. I"m from the USA and my grandparents had their toilets outside. They were called, "outhouses". I heard stories how they used the pages from the old Sears and Roebuck catalog and corncobs for toilet paper. I can understand the pages from the catalog, but what they did with those corncobs, I don't want to know.

My grandparents had an outhouse as well. Way way back in the old old days they would use small animal hides, weeds, scrap materials like you would use for garments, smooth flat rocks, wide plant leaves, and yes corncobs. They would let the cobs dry out after the corn had been eaten off of it and they would just wipe the cob along their butt/ bottom/ bumm and toss it pull pants up and go on their way. True facts 🤓🤨🧐

that hook thing in the old fireplace or chimney looked like one of them things my Nanna used to have at the start of the chimney above the fire was a lever that we used to hook the coal poker pull the lever to open a vent to heat the water tank upstairs , maybe that was similar at castle

We're stronger than we think, but we all have our breaking points and moments. I hope you get a good sleep and wake up tomorrow, feeling even slightly better. Theres plenty of hard hats to wear for your head to choose from. 😊 That patterned painting on the walls looks like it could be what used to be called stencil painting. The stencil tools you used to use just like a paint roller brush. There used to be different designs. Those toilet holes were very very deep. And your body waste would just free fall to the bottomless pit more or less.😅 You certainl didnt want to fall in one. 😮 COOL EXPLORE 😎

That Castle must have had some amazing features inside before they gutted it. Still cool, but I think overall, people prefer really cool old features (even if they have to rebuild/ recreate them). Now, what it looks like based on them walling up old rooms, and tearing out Ovens & Fireplaces shows that they plan to turn it into some posh/fancy Hotel. Great video/ drone foitage!

I'm SO GLAD you didn't walk across that rebar floor! I mean it looks like they're going to pour concrete at some point, however my 'cringe factor' shot thru the roof when you were considering walking over it. I mean you kept mentioning about how unstable some of those poles were placed. What if that were the case, beneath that rebar, and by your movement over it alone, you inadvertently dislodge a dodgy placed pole? All of 'pole-land' could go down like dominoes! 🤣🤣🤣 Then what, Matt?!
